I'm confused by the last two posts of yours, mcmcsalot.  You're saying that this calmness is your town meta, then saying that you can't announce your own town meta (which you just did), then saying that you're overall calm.

So really, it seems like you're just saying you are overall calm, but then awkwardly inserting a "and I'm town" bit to the first post.

I can't quite recall your calmness in blitz, and everything there is a bit different just due to the structure of the game, but I do recall a bit of panic, or at least feigned panic.

Agreed.  I mean, mom salon is definitely calm.  The whole my town meta thing was weird.

I am skimming updates as they come in but I'm not following this game closely yet. I know it's time to catch up but my thinking is that if I remove myself for a while and come into things, it might help my reads.

Basically this same method helped me pin scum day 1 in both BMV and RMM3.

It has nothing to do with laziness.*

I immediately read Qvist's original statement about Archetype's availability as him being busy in other games (since I'm following both 7 wonders and smallworld).  So he's not scummy at all for that, and I really don't see the link between Qvist and Archetype.

If you think i'm wrong in that assessment (and it seems joth/ashersky both see a link between Qvist/archetype) then you are basically saying that them being on the same scumteam would let Qvist know that Archetype was busy catching up on 'other games'.  And I really don't see how that's possible unless mafia have daychat in this setup

But the random question about Dsell coming right when he was being accused does feel very redirecting to me.

My thing about Q knowing about Arch was a joke.  Sort of.  I do think mafia know a bit about partner schedules and such.  When I was scum with Q in MXV, we knew each others time zones, etc.

But the deflection, and reaction, is why I am voting Q (not Arch).

I don't currently have any beliefs about your alignment, I'm still not sure what to make of it.  I wasn't expecting you to panic, but I was expecting you to react in some way.  There's overreacting to suspicion, which often feels scummy. there's indignance, there's self-pity, there's a lot of emotions somebody might show over being voted to L-3 with no apparent reason.  You, however, reacted barely at all, and really were as calm as possible.  It struck me as one of the things I should take away from this wagon.

Weeks from now when someone asks, what was mcmcsalots town meta again, this will be the post they refer too.

So this post was made quite jokingly, and when Jimm jumped on it I tried to explain that I wasn't serious about it but on a side note I do think I'm a calm player. Though I agree the posts were weird, I was trying to make jokes as the game was moving slowly, I'm not very good at it though.

Based on these I was tempted to vote.  After sleeping on it, I still feel inclined to vote
