I'm curious about the number of plays of Dominion that we each have. I think most of our plays are either isotropic, Goko/MF, and IRL. Perhaps some have a few on BSW or on Androminion, and maybe there are others. If it helps, here's a link to the final isotropic leaderboard:

Here are my current counts:

IRL: 258 (per my BGG plays log)
MF: 1715
Iso: 2458
BSW: 10 (estimated)
Androminion: 300 (estimated)

Total: 4,741

Goko: Highest number i can find is 776, but that was in 2013. There's a lot missing there as well. Is there an archive of late Goko leaderboards anywhere?

According to an old thread I made, I was at 2171 games when I finally hit level 40 on Iso. Add at least a couple hundred to that under my other non-competitive account. Probably around 100 IRL. And about 3 on MF/Goko.

Tabletop Simulator: something like 5 or 6
IRL: ~200 or so.

EDIT: so total about ~3740
EDIT2: forgot to count my 2nd account on MF and the few games played on some other unofficial Dominion online (was it Japanese? that only had base and intrigue?), making the total more like ~3780. ok not that big a difference...

Isotropish counts only 2 player all human pro ranked games since the switch to the MF version. If you want to see your total games played across Goko/MF, just open the game client and look in the corner near your avatar (it shows your wins-losses-ties).

It includes SOME Goko history, but not any history after the MF app launched. Remember that there were multiple months between the launch of the MF app and when Goko closed down. All games after that are not included.

I've played roughly 5000-6000 games.

BSW: A dozen?
ISO: ~5000 (up to lvl 40 when I used to be more competitive)
Goko/MF: ~2000
IRL: Not that many compared to online, somewhere in the 10s

Total: Let's round it up and make it 8000, accounting for some lost data / unranked games / 3p games, etc.

Currently I play about 2 to 5 games per day on average.

Okay, some of your numbers have to be off. Dominion came out in 2008. Assuming it's been out for 2885 days (just 30 days shy of 8 years, so the number 2885 is assuming Dominion came out January 1, 2008) then some of you are claiming to have played about 3 games of Dominion per day, every day.

That's crazy. And I really can't imagine that being true.

When you realize you can play 6 or more games in an hour online, those numbers become a lot easier to believe.

BSW hosted Dominion from the beginning, October 2008. It stopped ~March 2013. So that's 4 years, 4 months, and some fraction of 2 months. Let's call it 4 years, 5 months.

When I was in high school, I would usually play at least 5, but more often around 10-15 games every day in between the classes.

IRL: I would have to estimate around 120, but 150 or so may be closer. No way to know. I'll say 135.
BoardGameArena: About 50
Androminion: About 100
isotropic (during its glory days): 4677 + sockpuppet accounts probably makes it around 4800
Goko/MF: The client says 12390, but throw in early testing for both Goko and MF and it's +100 or so.
Sock puppet account on MF: 60
isotropic (playtesting days): Estimated 200? Man, I feel like I played more but I probably didn't.
2017 testing: Probably around 30 so far.

So an estimated 17,865. I feel like some large amount of games is missing, though. For one, I am pretty sure I played a lot more games than that on isotropic, but I have no idea how accurate CouncilRoom is (or Goko/MF given the number of disconnected games and such).

Edit: Just saw Qvist's link. I am not sure if the current isotropish leaderboard takes games from that same era into account, but if it doesn't, I can add 4083 Goko games, making the total 21,948.

(When I tried Isotropic, I had a bad experience. That turned me off towards online play. And after buying the base game and all of the expansions and promos, I couldn't see spending more money just to play online on Goko. And I know I wouldn't be happy just playing base Dominion online.)

3 games a day isn't hard to pull off.

In my Iso days I think I would average about 10 games a day easily. Because of its simplicity, it was also blazingly fast to play multiple games.
