Frisk, joth: if I can prove from the data we've gathered so far that Qvist had to have drafted both Treasure Maps, should I demonstrate it? Or should we still wait for Young Nick?
I'm pretty sure that Qvist did in fact draft both treasure maps. Lying about it is impossible, because you can be called out on your BS immediately.
Yeah. As long as scum aren't sitting next to each other (which thankfully didn't happen here), the only way they can lie about the drafting process is to claim some imaginary card was their "first draft" pick, when in fact that was their scumpromo. Like Dsell's imaginary Philosopher's Stone.
Of Qvist's claimed hand, the Outpost, Masquerade, and both Treasure Maps went through town players (me and/or Frisk). So we know they exist and reached Qvist during drafting. The only "imaginary" card he could claim would be his Navigator. But Navigator was played. And no one else saw a copy of Navigator during anywhere else in the drafting process. So because Navigator
did exist, and the
only time it could have been drafted was Qvist's first-round pick, that must have been his first-round pick.
This, to me, writes Qvist off the list of scumspects. "Treasure Map" comment of Dsell's notwithstanding. (Incidentally, scum knew at least one Treasure Map existed because it was drafted through cayvie.)
That leaves ash and Young Nick, and Young Nick is vastly scummier, so I think he's the right lynch today with ash tomorrow if needed.
