This is probably my favorite non-social deduction game to play, so I'd love to host it here. Anyone interested? Or heard of the game? It's by Sid Sackson. In it you buy shares in various hotels and add tiles to a central board to grow those hotels. However, when two hotel chains collide, the smaller one gets 'Acquired' by the larger one and money is doled out to the two highest shareholders of the acquired companies. Then shares can be sold for money, traded at a 2:1 ratio for a stock from the absorbing hotel, or keep them in hopes of the chain coming back on the board. Whoever has the most money at game end wins.

I heard a lot of good things about this, but I never played it and don't know the rules.

ahhh, ok.  So I've got my starting hand.

It also appears that Continental has been founded, and 3 additional stocks have been purchased (I play often with an Italian friend who always calls them 'stakes' so I almost typed that).

Checking money tells me that Walrus did that purchasing...
