I'm in favour of rating the events seperately. I find the mechanic different enough to warrant a different list.

Also, "what would you buy at this cost" doesn't really make sense  considering we're comparing P to 6P aswell.

One thing though: frankly I disagree with ranking Events as kingdom cards, because, well, they're not kingdom cards. They just play a completely different role and playing with them at all is optional. I would just make a separate list ranking all Events.

Playing with any card is optional. Even playing Dominion at all is optional. I therefore conclude that no list is needed.

EDIT: Or, if you must have lists, every card should be put on its own list. I could be persuaded to put basic treasures and victory cards on the same list.

I feel that Events should be ranked with Kingdom cards because you are making a choice to spend your money on that event over a card for the effect of that event. Sometimes, cards such as Mandarin or Mint are bought solely for their on-buy effect.

I feel that maybe there should be an Event list, but I also want them ranked with the regular kingdom cards. From the games I played, if I spend $6 on Lost Arts over buying a Nobles, I still spent $6, so how does Lost Arts overall compare to a card like Nobles or Goons. I feel placing Events with Kingdom cards at their costs gives a better idea of the overall power level of said events in relations to cards of their costs. Sure we could rank Events on their own, but that does not give a good picture of how strong an Event truly is.

As an aside, if people want a list without events and just kingdom cards, we can still rank the events alongside the kingdom cards and just have two lists, one with events and kingdom cards and another list of just the kingdom cards without the events.

i've played with bm like 5 times maybe and i think by this point it's pretty evident that it's mid-tier at best and my antivirus software is much the same

How about ranking all cards on a single list, but then posting the results with the cards sorted into multiple lists, possibly with overlap?  So, for example, you could have results for all the $3 cards including Events (which can be ignored by the people who want to ignore them), plus you could take the same data to compile a list of all the events whatever their cost.

I made the changes to the application. I'm testing it right now. I hope to let the voting start tomorrow.
And Events are now included in the normal lists and you can rank them individually in an Events list.
