I hadn't. But it doesn't really matter. Those Reds are essentially worthless.

Move to Algiers (2 actions)
Take Algiers discard Taipei
Move to Cairo

We're in pretty good shape... With Res. Pop., we should be able to avoid a big outbreak situation - the bad Epidemic draws I see are San Fran, Tehran, and Istanbul... otherwise, we Res. Pop. Baghdad and deal with the blue cubes.

If Tables doesn't draw a black card or the Epidemic, it might be best for Davio to wait on the cure (since I won't be curing my next turn, to set of Tables getting the fifth black in Delhi) and take some blue cubes off the board, since that's what's most likely to kill us before it gets back to him. If we draw, say Karachi and Delhi from the infection deck, then I swing back toward wanting to take a cube from Baghdad instead (and then Res. Pop. whatever card the Epidemic hits), in which case he might as well cure on the way.

Johannnesburg

I think I should Res Pop Toronto? If others are in agreement then consider that as a bolded choice.

There's still no reason to Res Pop before the Epidemic; Manila can safely be discarded as well.

The question now is whether we are more likely to survive two infection turns with Davio only removing one cube (probably Baghdad) this turn (while curing), or three infection turns with Davio removing two (Toronto/Chicago makes the most sense to me?). I'm inclined to go with the former unless we can work out a fool-proof solution that guarantees a win if he waits on the cure... but that possibility is at least worth thinking about.

I was thinking rushing cures?

Like:
Move to Cairo
Cure Blue
Move to Baghdad
Move to Riyadh

We can still survive some outbreaks, right?

Yes and no, because if blue double outbreaks, it could easily kill us by running us out of cubes. Then again, we only need to deal with two more infector phases - if we get an epidemic after that turn, we win. If we get it after Mith's turn, it's going to depend on what's drawn. If we don't get an epidemic, we win.

I think that's probably best though.

Qvist is just toying with us, now... :)

Alright, that changes things significantly. We might get lucky with the card draws and pull New Assignment/Re-examined Research, but I think we have to plan for the longer game, which means Davio should probably wait on his cure and do something about the blue situation this turn. I suggest:

Davio: Ferry Madrid, Ferry New York, Drive Toronto (remove), Drive Chicago (remove) - this removes some blue cubes, kills the outbreak threat, and gets Davio in position to do some more damage there on the way to curing.

mith: Give Cairo to Tables, Shuttle Delhi, Archive Delhi, ? (wasted action unless we draw Airlift or Borrowed Time)
Tables: Shuttle Delhi, Take Cairo, Cure Black, ? (wasted action unless we draw Airlift or Borrowed Time)
Davio: Drive Atlanta (remove), Drive Washington (remove), Drive Miami, Cure Blue (route taken dependent on what we draw)
mith: Shuttle Jakarta, Archive Jakarta, Cure Red, Win

Seems like a good idea, so I'm going with this and I will draw 2 Special Cards (hopefully). :)

Peddle across the strait of Gibraltar to Madrid
Take the Titanic to New York
Hop on the Greyhound bus to Toronto
Take the great American railway to Chicago

Ok, Airlift is fun here... we can save it until the Epidemic is drawn, and Davio can Airlift himself to the worst city with three cubes before the infector phase. Definitely keep for now and discard a black.

Actually, I have to discard anyway because, discard before epidemic is drawn. That'll be San Fransico. What should I Res Pop guys? Atlanta I guess?

Actually, I think you can do either Atlanta or Baghdad, if Davio Airlifts himself to the other:

Res. Pop. Atlanta, Davio Airlift to Baghdad = No outbreak possibilities in black, we have six blue cities in the discard with six blue cubes remaining but after Tables draws four cards, Davio can go Cairo, Cure, Miami, Atlanta to take one last blue off the board, so even if we were to draw all six cards we're fine.

Res. Pop. Baghdad, Davio Airlift to Atlanta = No outbreak possibilities in black again, now we have seven blue cities in discard with seven blue cubes remaining, and Davio can again get one off (actually two) on the way to cure (Washington, Miami, Cure, Atlanta).
