Damnit theory you're not listening

IF you trust Robz over me and Qvist you want to confirm Robz alignment first, because a town Robz implies scum Qvist-O

IF you trust O and Qvist over Robz you want to confirm my (or Qvists if you so choose, but I think he's still a likely spy) alignment first, because a town O implies a spy Robz.

My ruling was based on Resistance II however the link from Theory is clearly a stronger ruling on the matter (from game publisher) therefore Theory may distribute them one at a time

O, I think your reasoning works the other way more effectively.  If Robz flips Spy, then I am confident you are Resistance, because if you were also Spy I believe you would have been more likely to KACEOY Robz and vouch for him.  If Robz flips Resistance, then you're a Spy.

In any event I am reasonably confident in you rather than Robz.

I would rather jothenoah go first.  He can choose to either inspect Robz or Qvist.  Then I can decide on who to give Open Up to.

I give Overheard Conversation to jothenoah.

I'm pretty sure what's happening is two Spies are arguing about what's the best way to make it look to everyone else like they're not Spies.

(Which means it's O, Qvist, Theory, I guess.)

Theory, don't Open Up to anyone just yet.  I'd like to complete looking at various possibilities.  It could be best to open up to somebody who's not in the spotlight at all yet.  Or maybe there's some combination that unlocks the current puzzle we had.  How long do you have to decide?

I think ftl and me have had zero interactions with people, unless you count the talking that happens.

I feel like at this point, using it on either Robz or Qvist is equally informative. But do other people have a strong reason to pick one over the other?

I'm not so sure that Qvist/Robz is equal.  The way I see it, there's at most one spy between Robz/O, but either one or two spies between Qvist/Robz.

So we're looking at either O/Qvist/X, Qvist/Robz/X, or Robz/X/X.

I mostly agree with you theory about what we're looking at, but I think Robz/O could possibly have two spies.  Those are the two cases I haven't looked at yet.  But at least one of Robz/O is a spy, and at least on or Robz/Qvist is a spy.

Using it on Robz is the best, I don't want to state my conclusions until I've heard your result Joth, I'd prefer to leave you completely uninformed of my analysis in case you have any reason to fabricate a response.

O/Robz is unlikely for the reasons explained earlier (i.e., O would have had good reason to KACEOY Robz and vouch for him).

Ok, let's wrap up.
Robz let the mission fail, that's for sure.
theory has some bonus points for letting the mission pass although O could still be lying, what seems very unlikely for me under the circumstances. I can't understand why theory gave the card to jotheonah. Because like I've said earlier, Robz as a spy putting jotheonah out of the successful team and proposing a team with other people in it, implies a possible jotheonah + Robz scenario. And I can show my character card to anyone you like, just fyi, because I'm Resistance. I can show it to you, theory.

I understand that, Qvist.  But I prefer to see how jothenoah handles this issue, then I can decide who to give Open Up to.

I'm going to be busy the rest of this evening, could you wait a bit after Joth's result before confirming who you open up to?  I'd like to add my few cents, thanks.

How does a Robz/Qvist team work again? I really don't see it.

Robz gives Qvist his card expecting him to say he's resistance, Qvist decides to try a different route and bus his partner.

Robz. If Qvist turns out to be a spy we learn little about Mine/Robz alignments (the collective town doesn't: i already know the split). If Robz is proven a spy I'm not confirmed but i'm more likely resistance.

just realized resistance Qvist proves Robz scum too. So there are benefits to both sides actually. And as FTL pushed robz and he's possibly a spy, I'd say take your best judgement.

OK. I'll play OC on Robz. I probably won't be able to report on my findings until tomorrow evening. Gonna be V/LA most of the day.

Doesn't surprise me. I've been saying I suspected Jo for a long time now.

Uncannily convenient how everyone who investigates you turns out to be a spy. It's a damned spy conspiracy.
