Now, I'm a n00b, so feel free to pick me apart. But it occured to me that if you buy Death Cart, can't you use Trader to turn the Ruins into Silver? Or does it only work on 1 card? Still seems like an ok combo.

Yep, if you were holding a trader when you bought Death Cart you could gain two silvers instead

Hey! If there weren't any +buy cards, you could top-deck a Ruined Market and trash the other Ruins.

That works, but then you don't have target action cards for your Death Cart. I think it depends on the deck situation. But I think I gladly take those 2 Ruins most of the time.
