This week's contest:
Design an animal themed card!

There are some cards in dominion that are animals. This week i want you all to design a new one! Altough this isnt a strict "make a card that does X" design challenge, animal cards in dominion tends to have these traits in common:

• They tend to be simple. +1 Card or + Actions.
• But they also have some a distinct easy to understand twist: Rats makes you trash another non rat card in hand and gain a rat. Sheepdoog is +2 Cards but lets you play it for free when you gain a card. Horse is a one shot lab

A list of Current animal cards to refresh everyone. Google them for reference!

• Horse. Black cat. Rats. Sheepdog. Monkey. Guarddog. magpie. Goat. Faithfull hound. Bat(?). Camel Train.

Notes: I had to make a blue card! Timid Steed can be a Smithy or, at the start of your turn, a Stables. Because you need to meet the Stables discarding condition at the start of your turn, it's harder to chain them at the start of your turn than it would be to play a similar number of Stables (consider a deck with other cards with +Cards besides Timid Steed). It makes up for that in the versatility of being playable as Smithy too.

Who? Who played a card costing $2? The Owl usually only draws at Night (and can help set up your next turn), but if you're clever, you can awaken it at other times too.

I like this a lot.  I was going to make a comment about how it compares favorably to Night Watchman. But even setting aside Owl’s reaction and NW’s gain-and-play, any unplayable cards in your hand count toward Owl’s 6 cards, putting it in a good spot I think.

Look at the top 3 cards of your deck. Discard any number and put the rest back in any order.

- Looking for things that aren't covered by existing ways. A deck inspector is one example.

Golden Retrievers are good at well... retrieving things. This one can fetch stuff from your discard pile, but first you gotta throw something for it to bring back. You're still working on that trick though; sometimes it will bring you back something else instead. They also really like attention, and so will be glad to perform a trick when shown off (revealed) to your friends.

I thought about pricing this at $3, but I think $2 is better for this card as I'm pretty sure cards that reveal are a little scarcer than gainers.

Dont think i have to say this, but just to be clear: Its fine that both cards use the name "retriever". AJLs entry has "golden retriever" to distinguish it, if they both had retriever as name i would honestly ask that either of you changed the name so i could distunguish them easier.

Well, I have a split pile of Livestock, but it's based too closely on someone else's idea for me to feel okay entering it in a contest. Then I have the Flock of Ducks project, but I just used that for the previous contest. hmmm...
