Spacey's insistence on the N0 stuff is mildly town. Calamitas is right that discussing it is not good unless someone with a PR actually wants to share something, which obviously nobody did.

I would argue about the first one. Why is it not rolefishing?
I agree with LaLight here, Space is very cautious in regard to PR outing in general.

We don't know who might have N0 info. It might be people who would absolutely welcome some discussion because they don't know how to play with what they have, or just don't have time to think through all the implications, since it's not a common thing to get. Well, I haven't seen it before, anyway.

When I was vig in M90, I kept wishing there was more discussion I could draw from, and that other townies would take it upon themselves to ask questions that might help me, so I didn't have to ask anything particularly incriminating myself. It was really annoying that nobody talked about the existence of a vig at all for like a whole game-day at one point. Check my QT from that game for evidence of me grumbling about it at the time :-)

Definitely don't want to lynch LaLight. Schadd also isn't high on my list either. My highest are RR and Awaclus, but they don't seem to be high on others' lists. I guess I can make some cases tomorrow.

Why don't you want to lynch schadd.

Also I would lynch rr or awaclus.

I still think the dayvig comment is scummy, mainly because of the confusion as attention it caused. If you are town I just don't see how that actually helps town, it generated reactions but I don't really like that argument for being a pro town thing, the reactions you generate are ones from confused and concerned townies. I don't like how you have now gone after Dylan for quickly responding with knowledge about the role. This is the sort of thing scum likes, you confuse town, get a response that you can paint in a scummy way, and go after that person.
if you (and faust) think dylan is town, then it was productive in that it gave him an opportunity to demonstrate that he's town. and i don't see how you can tell my thing apart from town trying to give people something to talk about, or why you think people being confused is a bad thing; the more unfamiliar/unprecedented something is, the harder it is to fake a town reaction to it. dylan's reaction seemed fake to me, and i prodded about it later and it hasn't seemed more genuine.
The first underlined statement is such a scummy attempt at getting town cred. You can't say because you made a joke about being a pr and killing another player that allowed Dylan to demonstrate he is town.

The second underlined statement is another thing I hate. If you are town "trying to give us something to talk about" then you give reads, you give thoughts on other players, you don't make random claims with no context, wait till there have been responses and then cherry pick the ones you want to point out as towny or scummy.

The third thing is just wrong in my opinion. The more unfamiliar something is the harder it is to react to period and the harder it is to tell what anyone's reaction means. So it's harder to tell anyone's alignment from how they react so it's a bunch of wasted content.

first line: this looks like circular, or i don't understand what you're saying

second: yeah? and how do i give reads in the second post of the game? seriously, why do you think we do RVS? plus, "cherry pick things you want to point out as townie or scummy" is to "being town and getting different impressions of posts" as "pro-abortion" is to "pro-choice"

third: i disagree, and it's kinda overtly false here, unless you think faust is scum

He's not saying Dylan's scum I think it's just saying that you are scummy so this statement is irrelevant.

I can't tell if I just have a different fundamental understanding of rvs than other players.

In my opinion no one should ever do something "to get us out of rvs". Games start with people usually greeting eachother, giving some speculation on the setup, and casually conversing until someone makes a slightly alignment or meta indicative post, town or scum, and then people discuss that and then reads grow from there.

In theory, I'd agree with that. However, in practice, the longer scum can keep the game in a state where they can just say "It was RVS!" the harder it is to actually use the first part of the day to actually hunt scum based on content. That is why it is seen as scummy to post something that looks like you are trying to stay in RVS and vice-versa for trying to get out of it.

Also it looks to me like schadd wasn't trying to get town out of Rvs and into a territory where we are making reads and there is a variety of discussion and an overall helpful day for town. It looks like he did something, waited for reactions, and is now trying to get Dylan lynched based on Dylan's reaction. This is a lynch oriented playstyle scum want to employ vs a reads oriented playstyle town employs.

Agreed! Which is why I thought the post originally was anti-town, and why I now find schaad scummy for continuing to push Dylan's lynch and try to claim town cred for the original post.

People who will not be around at deadline ad are not voting schadd.

1) why don't you want to lynch schaad
2) name something scummy about a player other than schadd
