I tend not to leave Reading if I can avoid it.  If you come here, I can find us a venue probably, for a game or six.  I might even travel to Oxford; the trains are pretty decent.

You struggle for IRL opponents in Oxford?  I've basically got only one friend who'll play me here.  All the others either don't care for the game or feel I've gotten too good at it

I host a games night, so tend to get my fill of Dominion pretty regularly, but people are definitely getting increasingly frustrated with me lately.  Other games abound and I play online more and more.

Hey, I guess it's a proper thing if we say it is.

So what I plan to do is:

1) Obtain a copy of Empires.  From the news this morning, it sounds like that's been pushed back a little.  Nay bother.
2) PM you guys (ced, Joseph, Haddock) to try and find a mutually acceptable date.
3) Once agreed, advertise the date on f.ds to see if there are any further interested parties.
4) Confirm the exact venue a few days ahead of time.  It will be Reading, but options such as my place, my mate's place, our FLGS and one of my Uni holdings would be options dependent on numbers.
5) Mercilessly crush you all with a host of new cards.

I will be going to America for a couple weeks this June, so I can try to pick up a box of Empire cards and come back to Europe with it. I am near Geneva, which is just a cheap 80 minute flight from anywhere in Europe.

Wow. It really looks like we have to do the European release party in Karlsruhe. If I get my copy of Empires on Monday 20th as expected, we could play at my place on the weekend 25th/26th. There are one guest bed and at least 3 additional mattresses if you want to stay overnight and don't prefer to book a hotel room. There will be quite a few European Cup round of 16 matches on that weekend, too, so be prepared for a TV running in parallel (you are not required to watch). And my other Dominion cards are all in German. If that doesn't bother you and if you want to come, please PM me, so I can send you directions.

teamrocketgrunt told me he cannot make it that weekend, but he might join in a few weeks later. July 16th/17th, 23rd/24th or 30th/31st would work for me, too, and from August 5th to 14th there is a small games convention ("Zine-Con") in Höchst (Odenwald) where I hope to play lots of Dominion.

So if you want to join in on June 25th/26th, please tell me, and if one of the other dates works better for you, please do so as well.

I guess we can easily accomodate three or four parallel games with that one box. Beyond this, I'm running out of tables anyway...

There's not really any stories, except  that we played loads of Dominion and it was really awesome.

Yes, it was really a great weekend, only nice people, so be prepared for a second serving later this year.
I might actually create a Doodle really soon now so we can find the best date.
In the meantime I hope to play lots of Empires at the Zine-Con '16, a small games convention on August 5th to 14th in Höchst / Odenwald.
