In this game I had fun with a Remake / Border Village / Ill-Gotten-Gains combo. In turn 12 and in turn 16 I suceeded to give out 2 curses by playing 1 card.http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111117-151219-37b48cd0.html#Qvist-show-turn-12Code: [Select]Qvist plays a Remake.... trashing an Ill-Gotten Gains.... gaining a Border Village.... ... gaining an Ill-Gotten Gains.... ... ... Donald X made me a design snob.

So when you play it the second time, unless you had another Horn of Plenty in play, the cost of the card you can gain goes down by $1.
Opening Noble Brigand so your opponents 2/5 opening is now 2/3.
Quote from: NoMoreFun on November 20, 2012, 10:28:18 amOpening Noble Brigand so your opponents 2/5 opening is now 2/3.But... if you know your opponent's opening is 2/5, that means they just played their 2, and have the 5 in hand... and even if you did it "psychically", they'd have a chance of drawing Copper on the next two cards after reshuffling. Or, say, the Duchess (or Embargo I guess) they bought with the 2 just to mess around with the example
— Qvist's turn 20 — Qvist draws 1 card from the Caravan. (Qvist reshuffles.) Qvist draws 5 cards and gets +1 action and +1 buy from the Tactician. Qvist plays a Caravan. ... drawing 1 card and getting +1 action. Qvist plays a Familiar. ... drawing 1 card and getting +1 action. ... big sky gains nothing. Qvist plays a Caravan. ... drawing 1 card and getting +1 action. Qvist plays an Ambassador. ... Qvist reveals a Province. ... returning 0 copies to the supply. ... big sky gains a Province. Qvist plays 4 Golds and 2 Silvers. Qvist buys a Province. Qvist buys a Province. (Qvist reshuffles.) (Qvist draws: a Province, a Caravan, 2 Golds, and a Copper.)
I've always wanted to Remodel a card into a cheaper card for a 3 pile, but have never done so.
Play Black Market, HoP, gain victory card, play graverobber (HoP), play lab, play HoP, gaining victory.
