I was in bed last night trying to work out crazy tricks...
I had to stop reading right there.

Assuming this is a sexual reference, but can't quite work it out...

One day I'd like to win by powering up the single fairgrounds, gardens, vineyard etc. in the black market. It may be able to be done with an "all in" black market deck.

it's a really simple/common one, but i really love upgrading a $4 card into a duchy or a silver into a gardens/silk road when my opponent is trying to end the game with a governor remodel.

The one that I still remember is this:

In this game I had fun with a Remake / Border Village / Ill-Gotten-Gains combo.
In turn 12 and in turn 16 I suceeded to give out 2 curses by playing 1 card.
http://councilroom.com/game?game_id=game-20111117-151219-37b48cd0.html#Qvist-show-turn-12

Qvist plays a Remake.
... trashing an Ill-Gotten Gains.
... gaining a Border Village.

Assumed the OP was a sexual reference, but didn't quite want to wait for it to work out.

Can anyone think of a way to gain Victory cards with HoP without trashing it (excluding the obvious gain BV trick)
Not exactly what you asked for, but if you play Counterfeit - HOP, you can gain two Victory Cards from one HOP.

True, although after you play the Horn of Plenty to gain the first Victory card, it gets trashed from play. So when you play it the second time, unless you had another Horn of Plenty in play, the cost of the card you can gain goes down by $1.

That sounds like a pet trick in itself. One that screws you over, but still a bit of a trick.

Opening Noble Brigand so your opponents 2/5 opening is now 2/3.

But... if you know your opponent's opening is 2/5, that means they just played their 2, and have the 5 in hand... and even if you did it "psychically", they'd have a chance of drawing Copper on the next two cards after reshuffling. Or, say, the Duchess (or Embargo I guess) they bought with the 2 just to mess around with the example :)

It very rarely works, but I almost always open noble brigand when I start with 4 and I go first. It's not even a good strategy; just my "pet trick".

I've always wanted to Remodel a card into a cheaper card for a 3 pile, but have never done so.

I've seen and read it several times, but I think this is the first time I gave an Ambassador to an opponent to end the game.

I once did University to Vineyard to end the game, felt pretty good.  :D

Here's a cute thing that I didn't realize until recently: you can activate a Market Square with Hovel. On turn 3 or 4 my hand was something like Necropoilis/Copper/Copper/Hovel/Market Square and I was cursing my luck. Then I realized that I could buy an Estate, trash the Hovel, and discard the Market Square to gain a Gold. I don't know for sure that it's a good combo, but it sure was fun to do.

I almost felt bad for unleashing this unfathomably powerful combo...

http://dominion.isotropic.org/gamelog/201211/24/game-20121124-221936-f9b20763.html

— Drab Emordnilap's turn 18 —
Drab Emordnilap plays a Walled Village.
... drawing 1 card and getting +2 actions.
Drab Emordnilap plays a Duchess.
... getting +$2.
... Drab Emordnilap draws a card and puts it back.
... First draws a card and puts it back.
Drab Emordnilap plays a Sea Hag.
... First draws and discards a Nomad Camp.

Drab Emordnilap plays a Gold.
Drab Emordnilap buys a Cartographer.
(Drab Emordnilap draws: a Curse, a Sea Hag, a Gold, a Cartographer, and a Copper.)

Note the lack of giving out a curse; that'd just be overkill here.

As in, "How did I not realise that could happen"? Because Spoils isn't a supply pile, so (a) you can't Embargo it, and (b) you don't buy Spoils, so you wouldn't be cursed for gaining them even if there were some way to Embargo them.

Well Embargo only works when you buy the card, and since Bandit Camp just gains the Spoils you'd be fine. Also, since Spoils aren't in the Supply I don't think you can actually Embargo them.

I managed to get 5 coin hands for the first 4 turns of the game.

Turn 1: 5x copper, bought Mandarin
Turn 2: 5x copper, bought Haggler
Turn 3: 2x copper, shelters, opponent plays Bishop, I trashed my Overgrown Estate, shuffle and draw the Mandarin, put the Necro back on top
Turn 4: Haggler, 3x copper, Necro.  Play Haggler, 3 copper

If Mandarin is in play I can get 5 coin hands for the first 10 turns of the game :)

I thought that was buying Curses with extra buys (Market) and putting them in other players' decks. I mean, why else would you include the Curse pile if Witch wasn't in the kingdom?
