Qvist isn't going to be around till tomorrow. Has anyone besides him not setclaimed? Can we move on to other topics while we wait for him to get back?

I know I was semi-supportive of no-lynch at first but a big part of me thinks that since this is role madness, our best-hatched plans about getting the numbers might just come to naught. It actually might work if anyone with vigilante powers makes sure not to shoot, but mafia could have vigilante powers just as easily. And the fact that we've actually been rather successful at lynching mafia on day 1 recently makes me at least want to try. It's worth having more discussion about, certainly, but I think there's a good case to be made for trying to lynch scum.

I support No Lynch and tend to see support for pushing a D1 lynch as scum angling for an extra kill knowing that D1 lynches have historically always hit Town.

That said, I recognize that voting No Lynch can be construed as equally scummy.

Therefore, while I support No Lynch in theory I keep a vote cast where my strongest suspicions lie.

The bolded part is true historically but not recently. We've been doing pretty well recently, actually.

This whole post seemed like one huge hedge, basically. I do support voting for the scummiest read, though.

I'm okay with no lynch, but what do we do at night.  No town shooting, but other things?  There are some odd powers with these cards...

use protective roles on people you have a strong town read on

ok, only ones I didn't cover are play modifiers, use your judgement on those and discarders. I'm not sure we should be using those tonight.

Also, if the person to my right could indicate to me some how, subtly, breadcrumb-style, which of these 7 types of cards they plan to play tonight, perhaps in their next post, that would be a little bit helpful to me. Purely optional, of course.

Really? Because I agreed with your first point about that one post looking weird. Seemed rolefishy.

Are you talking about the last bit? Basically I have a card with an effect that depends on the card the person to my right uses, and I think it might be my best Night 1 choice. So, since that person can possibly communicate to me without communicating to scum (assuming they're town) then I could use that card much more effectively. If they choose not to, fine. I'll use my second best card instead.

If that's a rolefish, it's a very weirdly specific one.
