Is anyone actually surprised that ooksoo cheated his way to the top given how fast he did it and how high variance Dominion can be at times (he would have to lose to a lower ranked player once in a while due to shuffle luck, etc.)?

It was pretty obvious to anyone who paid attention. If people cared about goko rating the same way we used to care about the isotropic leaderboard, it would have been handled a long time ago.

Besides, I know we all love the feeling we get whenever we can look at a number next to our names on a list and mentally adjust that number to a higher value.

Man, I forgot to get me some popcorn.

But aside from uncovering a cheater and exposing an exploit, there is some good that came out of this thread.

We have the rules for Strip Dominion almost polished.

Hey and there's also this guy named Qvist. He obviously cheated his way to the top of leaderboard a few weeks before.

I don't get how you guys do it.

I really can't get myself to play more than one consecutive game on Goko. :-[
In fact, often I can't even FIND more than one consecutive game!

I still prefer giving the benefit of the doubt…at least until there's evidence.

You didn't want to crucify someone without evidence. Now there is evidence. Sounds like a reasonable person to me.

FWIW, when ooksoo posted the develop log against Snorkelbite, that Snorkel said was one of the most epic combos he's seen executed, ooksoo said that was his gf playing.
