A is probably better if you're doing something that doesn't have much time for building your wonder, like science.

I'll explain the full reason for the choice post game. I've played Gizah probably 5-8 times and I think this is the first time I've decided on side A. (edit: And I chose it because I think it's best, not to be different)

I actually have a rules question about Babylon B.  If, as my sixth action in an age, finish the second stage of my wonder, do I get immediate access to the seventh card that age?  Or would it already be too late?
