It's true! I don't understand how asking to be exiled is proof of my scummyness. At least explain that.
I suppose it could be helpful for others.
We have 2 options here: Either MiX thinks the 2 Mayors scenario is realistic enough to be considered, or not. It is worth noting that scum!MiX would have a better idea of what to expect than town!MiX, as scum already knows what firepower they have.
Let's consider where MiX thinks it is a realistic option.
Town!MiX perspective:
Then Dylan's vote could be the hammer. The upside is knowing both claimants tell the truth, and the downside is a town death. How bad that is, only MiX knows. However, by offering himself up as a sacrifice, he's basically yelling at scum "LOOK I'M NOT A PR". It's also notable that fang's wagon has been sitting at 2 votes for some time, yet MiX did not suggest to run the test there. Why not? For town!MiX it is certainly better to test on potential!scum!fang than on himself.
Scum!MiX perspective:
There is a good chance that Dylan might comply, which would clearly be terrible for scum if there are 2 Mayors. However, there is still a sufficiently large chance that there's only one Mayor (or maybe MiX knows a scumpartner is among the claimants). If it ends up failing however, MiX can make the argument we just saw - "Scum wouldn't do this". Given that MiX has a late-day wagon building steam, this might provide a way out of a tricky situation, and thus the risk is worth it.
I do think however that it's more likely MiX doesn't take the 2 Mayors scenario seriously.
Town!MiX perspective:
Why then waste time on a test? Dylan doesn't take the scenario seriously either. There is a possible angle whereby MiX is trying to obscure the fact that he has a PR by acting extremely VT-like, but in the end that sort of play is disingenuous and thus a bad idea to do as town, as it will rightly be read as scummy. Especially considering that he might be forced into a claim either way, considering he's a major wagon in the last 12 hours of the Day.
Scum!MiX perspective:
Basically what I said about the scum!MiX perspective before still holds true, only now MiX actually doesn't think it's even a risk, so there is an even stronger incentive to use this sort of posturing as a way to deflect his wagon.
