I think the best village 2.0 is Mining Village. It is arguably the only village 2.0, too.

edit: ok, fine.  BEST village....KC beats out herald.  Nothing is more satisfying than a good herald deck...but KC...its just better.

As I mentioned before, 'best' to me means 'best designed' which is not far different from my opinion of 'most fun'.
If you want what you're meaning as best, you should say strongest.

King's Court has fallen. Last round, 5 of the 8 cards were ones seeded as if they would make it that far; now only Border Village remains. And it's the only one in the top 4 that actually gives you +1 Card and +2 Actions. Fishing Village at least gives you +2 Actions, and then the other two have to reveal an Action or they don't even Village. But here they are and I guess we're all learning something today.
