Um... is it even possible to get the deck back to just 7 coppers and 3 estates?  Or are we allowed to also have chapel/forge?

Plus silver was tough to get... unless that wasn't actually required?

Ah, it would've fallen under that dreaded "3" cost too. No, I meant just the kingdom cards for the bonus point, not CSGEDP.

Oh shoot, I got all the kingdoms in 13 but had no way of getting a silver :P lol

Help! / Re: Was it wise to open Masquerade-Potion?
« on: May 14, 2012, 07:42:40 am »
Why did you want to trash your masquerade?  It was the only terminal (well... chapel) and using cartographer you could pretty well control what you drew from it.  It would have made to get some good cards from him when he returned many alchemists to the top and would have completely wrecked any chance he had.

I'm trying to figure out if 12 turns is decent, or if I need to actually work and get it down lower ;)

With embargo, would embargo token travel with the pile, or would they be put on to the pile that got moved into the kingdom?

To make it better than Woodcutter:

Choose 2: +2 Buys; or +2$; or +P.

Not that people want 2 buys from one card that often but...

762
The problem with Armory is how do you deal with negative buys?  As in if you were to play 7 of them, would you be at -6 buys, or just at zero?  And then if you then played a woodcutter, would you be back at 1 buy, or simply down to a measly -5?

I want to make sure I'm getting this right... the deck is a single native village and one other card.  Every other card must be on the native village, and no card may be trashed?  Or does the game also have to end at this point (by piles or provinces?)

Ach, I figured that KC-Bridge would be faster, but I forgot that Governor with no opponent to help is better than Laboratory  >:(

While develop might give slightly worse buys early compared to silver, it would seem to me like games would last longer with only one player going for the provinces, so turning the Estates into a 3 Action (Village, Great Hall, Scheme etc.) while not normally good, could work out in the lengthened an action heavy deck?  To me it would seem like a decent opening buy if there were no better actions, and almost certainly better in the long haul than silver, even if slightly worse short term.
