You probably need to sort by cost, too. Otherwise a set with more expensive cards might show up as stronger.
Hindsight being what it is, had they initially been big sets, what would you have wanted to do differently? And if you never had small sets, what would a larger Alchemy have looked like? For Cornucopia & Guilds 2E, was there ever any concern that either of the two halves would have more content than the other? Cornucopia having 5 removed cards to Guilds' 3, for example. No; the idea is to not ever split them back up. So e.g., one Reward uses Coffers, and that's fine.
I'm the same way. I'm not even a big fan of the Auger piles. But the nice thing is I have 9 other piles to choose from. Not when I don't play with it, which I dont. Most contemporary games with deckbuilding have as much to do with Dominion as a game with worker placement has to do with Caylus.
I still feel like there's something off with a game like Dune: Imperium that makes it so I can't get into it. I don't like the revolving market, it makes me feel like it's too luck-based what cards are available on each player's turn.
Does Black Market make you feel similarly about Dominion?
In that case does anyone know where it is available for purchase online? I have only found websites offering pre orders. There was a seller on Amazon briefly. As I'm waiting for the update pack, I didn't order one. I didn't look at who the seller was on Amazon either.
The only landscape cards with different backs, iirc, are Boons and Hexes. The rest are designed to be chosen at random so have the generic back.https://wiki.dominionstrategy.com/index.php/File:Ally-back.jpg
I’ve never played online. I own everything up to Renaissance.I miss playing Dominion in person.
why? You must really like shuffling.
I own 5 sets and if in the same room I'd rather each person get on their own device and play online.
Worth 1 VP for every 5 Treasures in your deck.If it’s a hoax, I spent a lot of months playtesting a fake expansion. I sure hope it’s real.Dammit, Footnote! Why do you have to tease us? I assume you're not allowed to tell us anything. Maybe just one little thing?
I can tell you something: The letter "a" appears in the name or text of at least one card in the expansion. (One of the playtesters told me this when I sent them an email yesterday.)
Confirming an Action or treAsure or cArd reference in the set.
So much for the all-Victory Card Expansion

If it were up to me, I'd love to tell you something. Alas, it is not up to me.
There could be a Treasure that gives X-factorial amount of money.Maybe we could call it Bank!
In fact lots of Dominion traffic has moved to discord (thus, not being here), despite it not sorting posts by how approved they are, and despite the presence there of both Awaclus and Chris is me.The world is just moving too fast for me. I still haven't been to Reddit and stuff is already going somewhere else? I like my comfort zone. (That comfort includes real cards with established friends, instead of playing online with people I do not have personal relationships with.)
I feel like Haunted Mirror and Secret Cave might be problematic*. The rest could probably be used with a lot of different Kingdoms.I'm a little disappointed it doesn't have events. I love how you can add them to every set.I too was hoping that there would be "set independent" components here, with the top candidate being Heirlooms. For example, P/C don't require Prosperity cards, and Shelters doesn't require Dark Ages cards. However, it turns out that they need to be paired with their respective Kingdom cards.
I did inquire about just how independent they could be as a variant to have more of the other Kingdom cards be non-Nocturne stuff, while still having many to all of the Heirlooms....
