Someone could Masquerade and pass you Socks and you don't have to act pleased.[Socks]
But Moat is strictly better than Socks ...
It’s the other way around. Protection from attacks doesn’t make you pleased, this does
Suppose I have a Grand Market, Tax, Bonfire, village & Coppersmith in kingdom. If there are 2 Tax Debt tokens upon Grand Market, can i play 3 Grand Markets, village then play 2 coppersmith in action phase. Then play 2 coppers in Buy phase (each giving me 3$). Can i attemt to buy grand market with copper, pay 2 debt (thous receiving 2 debt tokens from gm pile), then attemt to pay 6 for gm and fail with its ability(cause copper in play), then pay debt tokens with copper money, then buy bonfire to trash copper from play and then buy gm without debt with only gms money?3 GM = $6
Even better: http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?board=50.0I was waiting for someone to do that
I don't understand how this is very difficult.QuoteHe got there by buying Werewolves, Secret Caves and Cursed Villages (draw to 6, discard duplicates, play some stuff, lather, rinse, repeat);
Wait a minute. You can't "repeat." As soon as you play your second Cursed Village (or second anything) you can't cash in the lamp. It's more like lather, rinse, get soap in your eyes, swear, try rinsing again.
The actual sequence is: Play your cursed Village, draw to 6, play Werewolf to draw three, hope you got lucky and now have four other uniques in hand, because if you don't, lamp's not happening this turn, and no amount of additional villages and werewolves can help you get there.
Having playable durations helps a great deal, though I'd hate to have to play Secret Cave in a kingdom without Cursed Village to improve it. A turn that starts Secret Cave, discard duplicates, Cursed Village, then Werewolf stands a good chance of lamping, but that does rely on getting those cards in a particular order.
You do realize you can play more than one copy of the same card, right? It just won't count for Magic Lamp. Just asking because it sounds like you are saying that it's impossible for you to activate Magic Lamp if you play two Cursed Villages. It will be harder, for sure, but it's still possible.
Jedi Master: $5Each other player with 5 or more cards may reveal a Sith from their hand. If they do not, they put a card from their hand onto their deck. Flip the Force token. If it's on the Light side, gain a Jedi Apprentice.
Action, Attack, Force User
Each other player reveals their hand. If they did not reveal a Sith, place a card from their hand onto their deck.
Flip the Force token. If it is on the light side gain a Jedi Apprentice.
Setup: The force token starts randomly on one side.
Sith: $6 (This is not in the supply)Same text as Jedi Master, with the Jedi reveal instead of the Sith reveal?
Action, Attack, Force User
Each other player may reveal a Jedi Master from their hand. If they did not, trash the top card of their deck.
Flip the force token. If it is on the dark side, gain a Jedi Apprentice from the trash.
Jedi Apprentice: $3 (This is not in the supply)Seems okay as written. Not sure on the strength. How many Sith are available? And I don't know if the Force token needs to start randomly. There should be a strategy to play Jedi Master before your opponent, right?
Action, Force User
+2 cards, +1 action
If the force token is on the dark side, flip it over, trash this, and gain a Sith.
@OPThat's literally how the box insert is designed.
Worst come to worst, you can always grab a sharpie or pen, and write it onto the card itself (although I would research which ones to uses to leave minimal smudging).Right, I'm gonna have to figure this out when I get Nocturne.
I usually go with 'if two or more kingdom cards require it, it goes in box X, if only one card requires it, it goes next to the card'.
So boons, hexes, states, spirits, wishes in box X, heirlooms next to their respective cards, lost in the woods with fool, bat with vampire, zombies with necromancer.
I would assume game owners would just put away Heirlooms with their respective Kingdom cards in the same pile/slot section. So for example: 10 Pookas + 6 Cursed Gold, or 10 Trackers + 6 Pouches in the same storage slot (assuming it'll fit... esp. with sleeves )
