Could Frisk be a strongman-ninja SK, is that a thing?
4
Oh wait that doesn't explain anything because Frisk isn't responsible for the ice cream crushing either way, so that wouldn't explain Watno only seeing one guy!!
So where I was getting at, rather slowly (obviously Frisk isn't ninja, he just got tracked..):

Two guys killed Insomniac. Watno claims he tracked Insomniac and only saw one guy target him. Either someone somehow crushed Insomniac with an ice cream cone without getting tracked (so ninja Jorbles or ninja Joth most likely, or someone can mess with the flavor which I find super hard to believe) or Watno is lying. If Watno is lying, he is scum. Right?

Or Robz did the kill. I keep saying this. ::)
How do you explain the ice cream cone flavour then? Sorry if you said this already, waking up 5am makes me run slow.

The ice cream cone flavour would be stolen from Joth, seeing as Robz' role is "thief".
Ah, thanks for explaining this to me. While I don't think anyone could randomly just invent flavour, Robz's role stealing it does sound plausible and it would account for everything which is pretty huge in a confusing situation like this. Then we have his weird weird play throughout the game.. Would he be foxy enough to play like that thinking "surely they'll think I'm obvtown because scumRobz would be more polished".. I think he very well could. Unvote, we need to examine Robz more and definitely definitely hear from Watno. Actually Vote: Robz, put my money where my mind is.

My head is spinning, need to take a break from this thread / read the last two pages again to make sure I understand everything. Role madness indeed..

If I were not me, I would definitely vote for me. My role does seem scummy. I don't think the people starting a wagon against me are scum.

I've given it! I think Frisk is definitely scum. The case against Jorbles makes sense, but he talks like town to me, and I can imagine Jotheonah planning this to get Jorbles killed.

Yaaaaay hipster Galz solves crimes before it's cool.

Just sayin'. ;D

You probably didn't notice any of those posts in detail because they didn't contain a Vote Robz (not bold, no colon!).

I'm still torn between really believing that a neighbor is scum, and we should figure out which - or Robz is likely scum thinking if he does scummy things he can get away with it because scum Robz wouldn't be blatantly scummy - or thinking neither of the first two matter because Watno fits whichever above makes most sense, so why bother deciding between the first two?

I know I'm never going to convince anybody using the following logic, but hey, why not try? If I were scum, I would not confess to a role with such a scummy sounding name as "Thief."

I swear I read all the posts, and in pretty good detail, and yours especially. I think maybe because I was forgetting about Robz being the thief, those lines describing it just didn't quite register.

Either that or I'm going insane.

Nice to have all your thoughts in one place for future reference, Robz, especially with the pace this game is moving today.

As far as most likely scum, I'm gonna say:

Robz>Frisk>Watno>Jo>Jorbles

but with decent arguments, or at least semi-plausible cases in which they're scum, for each of them. But if Frisk is anything, he's the SK.

It wasn't nearly as incriminating at the time, I don't believe.

But I apparently have big gaps in my memory tonight, so I'm gonna go back and fact-check myself.

It COULD be because Watno is lying. He was my main scum read yesterday. I believe I ended the day with a vote on him.

Also, while I'm asking questions:

I remember scum Robz absolutely crucifying Ozle for posting D1 in an odd, seemingly unhelpful, very unique fashion. Said this Robz "If he were town, he would care more about Towns own interest, rather than his own. I don't care if he's having fun, he's being actively and intentionally anti-town, and I'm going to park my vote on him until he spa."

As it turns out, Ozle was indeed scum, and his actions were accurately called out - ironically by scumRobz of a different scum faction.

Why should your D1 posts be viewed any differently, and why should we expect to find a player engaging in "active, intentional, anti-town play" to flip town if we decided to lynch you?

My play on Day 1 was neither active, intentional, nor anti-town. I was a little reserved and short, but I wasn't annoyingly cryptic like Ozle in MVI. And hey, my vote ended up on the person we all think now is very possibly scum. So who's the unhelpful townie now?

Requoting robz's role here because we keep talking about it and I've already forgotten his claim.
Quote
I'll just explain it. It's pretty vague in either case. I am a "Thief." I target someone, and then I get something from them that relates to their flavor. Other stuff can happen, like roleblocking them, or getting an ability from them... Yeah, this isn't much of an explanation. That's literally all I was told.

I picked Watno, who was my scumread yesterday, why not? I was told that the cyan paintball exploded all over me, and I didn't get anything from him. So I don't know if I roleblocked or absorbed his action in some way.

You know... would town robz be vague like this? Like if robz were town, and he had a role with a scummy-sounding name, and sort of confusing mechanics... wouldn't he be clearer?

Dunno. Maybe I do believe him, on second thought it seems more plausible for a few reasons. Not voting for him yet even though I've really wanted to lynch him earlier, I'm so having some doubts.

...or maybe I shouldn't believe him - Robz, are you a plant?

Well, 1/3. You're right, they weren't active. However, this is what they were:

Scarce
Contentless
Distractions
Intentional
And yes, Anti-town

Your vote ended on the person that we all now think is scum? Hmm, true. But if I recall, you stated yourself that you had no original reads and were just sheeping others. I absolutely hold no pro-town associations for you based on the location of your vote given the reasons it was cast.

I'm sorry, but your posts were much, MUCH more useless than anything Ozle ever posted - he at least went out of his way to make his confusing posts clear. And hell, I can't knock your scum jujitsu there - you were right! But you haven't adequately explained how that was obvanti-town play, yet your D1 here was not.

Faust has also been incredibly stubborn this game. In other news, it's hot in the summer, and water falls from the sky when it rains.

I take things a little more lightly in BM and RM games, as is well-established. Especially when I'm not scum.

I have been forced to accept that lackluster play is a town tell for you.
