I should be around for deadline, I still like my vote on mix, although the case on LL is looking not half bad. But I don't think that know if they could both be scum, with Mix voting LL at this point in time. Less then 24hrs but yet no clear lynch.

For the rest of you, I'd like to know why.

I got a town read on him when talking about draft order claiming. His train of thought appeared to mirror mine so closely and so simultaneously that I would have a hard time believing he could be scum.

You guys

what if we no-lynched

I'm not 100 percent opposed. But there's like four people I'd be jazzed about lynching rn (raptor, jimmmmm, lalight, scolapasta) so I still have hope we can agree on someone

You mean on purpose? Cayvie had some data on that. Shraeye would like it. I'd have to be convinced.

Didds, thoughts on scolapasta?

scolapasta, thoughts on Didds?

I find him somewhat scummy for finding you scummy after you made that assessment of him, but it’s hard to know for sure if it’s scummy or new to our game. So, I’m not going to vote for him.

alright, it's not a long time until deadline, so I will partially claim.

I have fox ears which I guessed to be an investigative role which it actually is. That's it for now

Hrmph. Might be worth keeping you alive for a night to see what your investigation shows.

vote: MiX

Yes, everyone vote MiX. Yaaaay.

What can I even say anymore, honestly I'm losing hope.

I’m not sure about this response. Why so defeated?

My data was specifically on M-series games, not RMM. I haven't analyzed those.

Currently more likely town than not.

Is not appropriate to read someone who declares you are scum (with, in your opinion, fake evidence) as scum themselves? I mean why else would that happen?

interesting

now everyone suddenly wants to lynch me asap. Pay attention to this trio of players who just voted me after claiming something which is potentially useful. Also what is the reason for me to lie?
If you vote MiX, we can learn what one third of that trio is all about.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

Re-read LaLight.

Overall I think he's pretty Towny. A couple of things mentioned against him I disagree with (such as that jumping on an early wagon is scummy - I agree with his sentiment that pressuring people is good.

A couple of things I noticed though:

scummy: EFHW, WCD, Raptor, e,
neutral-to-scummy: glooble, Lalight, lekkit,
neutral: ADK, Jimmmmm, cayvie, MiX
neutral-to-town: scola, faust
town: ash, shraeye, mail-mi

I agree with some of this....mostly that EFHW and raptor are playing under the radar. I think move Lekkt and LL to the scummy list instead of me, and drop e down a coup,e of notches, too, and we’re in business!

why are you so fixed on me? this just feels weird

I disagree that WCD was "fixed on" LL.

These are her posts about him I found:

The scola wagon is based on nothing other than Shraye’s completely unsubstantiated assertion. That is typically Shraeye, but the follow along looks scummy to me

Vote: LaLight

LaLight’s move was also a very easy way to pretend to be scumhunting, especially since it was based on nothing but Shraeye’s pronouncement.

My townsfolk right now are Ash, MiX, cayvie, and ADK. Maybe Shraeye.

Not Glooble, LL, or EFHW

She had plenty of other posts after her specific comments on LL, and in the more recent ones she mentioned LL along with some others.

There's often the argument made that scum are more sensitive about being suspected than Town are, and that could apply in this case. But I'm also inclined to think that scum are quite aware of this sentiment and attempt to avoid acting that way. So for this particular point I give LL very minor scum points.

something about mail-mi seems very off. As far as I remember his playstyle, he is playing less defensively and i would say a bit lighter? I mean it may be that mail-mi's style changed, because mine certainly did, but I would like to lynch him to see.

was I voting him? vote: mail-mi

Two things on this: Unless it's specifically someone's meta, I don't see that playing lighter and less defensive than other times is an indication of scummyness. And proposing a lynch "to see" is a pretty poor reason I think. But it doesn't really feel like scum trying to find an excuse to vote for someone.

Also, while claiming at L-8 or whatever is a bit odd, it's probably best to give a claimed investigative role at least one Night to get some kind of result, so I am against lynching LL Today.

Not going to be around at deadline unless I am up with the baby. Which he has been sleeping great so hopefully not.

I am really seeing 4 wagons here that in my mind could legitimately be d1 lynches:

Mail-mi- most preferred
Jimmmm- alternate

Big gap in between then....

LaLight- second least preferred
MiX- least preferred

I really don't see the people voting ashersky or faust being able to convince anyone to lynch there.

The other person I think could potentially be a late option is raptor. I need to do a few iso reads then come back with more thoughts

Actually, I am very against a LaLight lynch.

LaLight, why didn't you just claim in your qt with ashersky? I guess you may have already.

At this stage, probably not. If I legitimately look like being lynched I'll enter some kind of self-preservation mode, but not until.

In my experience, scum tends to notice others reads on them more often than scum does.

Scumslip? Surely scum has a harder time keeping track of which alignment they're meant to be talking about.
Weakest argument of the game award.

Any award's better than no award!

If I'm honest, when I started typing that post it was mostly a joke. But scum does have to type "I'm Town, hope we lynch scum" while thinking "I'm scum, hope we lynch Town"; I suspect that mistake is very slightly more likely to come from scum than scum.

I can confirm LL claimed the same sort of claim in the QT awhile back.

I feel like claiming way too early is a NAI LL thing.

Also, I re-read mail-mi.

Nothing really jumped out at me except the scum/scum mistake, and his case on La-Light (#871).

I don't like his use of "pretty confident"; Town is not often pretty confident of any of their reads on Day 1; early confidence is a scumtell in my opinion.

I think using his vote on scola in case is pretty silly. It was early on Day 1, probably just outside RVS. Wagons are good at that point. Also, has faust received any scrutiny for his vote (not that he should), or just LL?

Short fluffy posts are common for Day 1, particularly for certain players.

So really the only part with any substance is the comment about WCD being "fixed on" him, and I don't think that's enough for any kind of confidence in the lynch.

But, similar to mail-mi's case on LL, it's not much.

So... slight scum on mail-mi.
