I'm wondering about that, too. It's an option for sure, but probably just lands us in the same situation tomorrow.

The only difference is if scum doesn't know who the vig is, they don't have a last-chance effort to save us if we lynch wrong today.

Also my D1 is incredibly townie.  My D2 I was just wrong about Dylan.

You can't objectively evaluate your own play

Yes, but stating it will get someone else to evaluate it and we can get over the gkrieg is possibly scum faster.
So you don't think you were actually incredibly towny.  Instead you're trying to get people to reread you to see you are at least averagely towny?

I do think I'm very townie. My D1 was super townie and I had the townslipped D2. But really I was to look closer at LaLight today. I also think Jake might be scum though because he is slipping under the radar a lot, and UoS wasn't the towniest person.

This and couple of similar posts highlighting your towniness and made by yourself. You seem putting thoughts in our heads.

I can do a reread and put together a case, but this just looks like LaLight from his last two scum games.

The lynchpool gets narrowed if they nk. I think today's situation is as good as it is going to get for scum. The vig gets their shot either way. That could narrow POE if they are successful, even if they hit town. Now that I think about it, if scum doesn't nk then the vig will get two shots (assuming we no lynch again). And if they do nk, the POE is that much easier for town.

The only thing i am afraid of now is not lynch but lynch with a quickhammer with scums knowing who vig is. I want town to win, I don't even remember when was that the last time.

Ok, thinking through this some more, it could be worth no lynching to give the vig their chance to be hero. It comes down to how do the chances of lynching correctly compare to the chances of the vig being able to shoot successfully.

The only answer i can come up with is that my style changed. When you'll se i am town in this game, after lynch or when we will catch bad guys, consider that for future :)

Isn't that bad?  If you don't know the difference between your scum and your town play?  Like how can that possibly be townie?

Wait, you want to let the vig (who was wrong about Eevee) decide the game instead of having us lynch?  That sounds crazy to me.  Having the entire town find scum instead of having a vig do it for us must be better.

I'm not forgetting it.  Hoping the vig will save us means hoping that scum 1. don't know who the vig is and 2. don't guess correctly overnight and 3. no other odd permutation of jk and vig shots.  This is why I was thinking no lynch wasn't worth it and that's what I meant about comparing chances in making the decision.  I actually don't want to let the vig decide, but we should at least consider it because it is less risky than losing the game today with a mislynch.

One more thing - Eevee wasn't actually a terrible choice to vig, imo.  A substantial wagon had built on him and vigging him kind of "undid" the effects of the no lynch, giving us the information we would have gotten if we had managed to actually lynch Day 1.

Now I'm confused.  Don't they get the chance either way?
