Battle Strategy by 461.weavile from Warlords and Wizards (http://imgur.com/a/7D3Lt)
Thoughts:
I found this card to be pretty unbalanced. Choosing any 4 cards for your next hand and getting a ton of gold in tunnel games is insanely OP. Any engine that can reliably produce 13 coins and +1 buy with just 4 cards is broken. All you need is festival and some platinum/gold. A single tunnel can net you all the gold, then you can trash them with bishop. Fortunately we were not playing with Co0kiel0rd's Suburb, or you'd get at least 6~7 more coins per turn. I'm a huge fan of the idea and I love the menacing artwork, but it needs a few nerfs.
A) Change “Either discard them or set them aside” to “Either put them on top of your discard pile or set them aside” to prevent unlimited tunnel/suburb/crystal ball triggerings.
B) Add a discard penalty like “Discard the top 3 cards of your deck” to lessen the chance of getting a perfect treasure map/treasure map hand.
C) Only go through your deck once. As the card is now I interpreted it to let you shuffle your discard pile to make a new deck. Infinite deck cycling is pretty darn good. Change to “Until you have set aside 4 cards or your deck is empty”
Not sure if these will just make the card a useless 5 cost, but this should remove OP decks with tunnel/treasure map/suburb/crystal ball/tournament. Assuming these nerfs, here are some combos I can think of:
Synergy:
Treasure Map, Greatly increases the chance of a collision
Tournament, Helps you spike 8, then lets your tourney clash with your new found province.
Platinum and +Buy, lets you get a province every turn without worry of junking your deck
Slogs, Skips past the junk like no other card.
Gardens, Lets you get good cycling in a huge deck.
Explorer, Greatly increases the chance of a collision
Opponent's Relics/Raids, Negates the punishment of receiving you -1 Card token.
Anti-Synergy:
Chapel, No junk to skip past and your probably nailing about 8 every turn anyway.

Mocked up an improved version of this card, but unsure how to post it.

Ratings:
Fun: 8/10 Choosing your next hand can be very satisfying and makes it easier to pull off some combos.
Balancing: 3/10 Several flaws that make the card a little too good.
Design/Art: 8/10 Personally I love the impressive looking knights but not very dominion-y so not full marks.
Concept: 9/10 Brilliantly executed!
Overall: 7/10 A huge fan of several aspects, but the balancing issues prevent this card from scoring any higher. :(

Hospital by Asper from Asper's Cards (http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=9231.0)
This may be a little bit skewed because I'm a huge fan of the VP tokens, but I love this card. I love the artwork and the concept. However it is just a tad OP on a lot of boards because cards that trash lots of cards fast (Chapel, Steward, Doctor, etc.) can chew through your plethora of coppers. Even more unbalanced, cards that like having copper around (Counting House, Coppersmith, Gardens, Ascetic, etc.) turn the penalty into a benefit! I think the card needs a minor on gain penalty to slow it down a bit.
A) “When you gain this, put three victory or curse cards from your discard pile that are not actions or treasures on top of your deck.” This should prevent you from buying mass quantities of hospitals and make you less eager to buy one.
With that in place, it's probably still a good card, just not a must buy.
Synergy:
Coppersmtih, Turns coppers into silvers!
Counting House, Takes mounds of copper from your discard pile to get you a province!
Gardens, Coppers increase your VP!
Ascetic, Trashes through your coppers and rewards you with more VP tokens!
Anti-Synergy:
Beggar, Less coppers in the supply means less VP for you.
Pawn Shop, Once all the coppers are trashed hospitals become useless cantrips.
Opponent's Swindlers, All your coppers become curses. Curses!

Ratings!
Fun: 9/10 I love VP tokens!
Balancing 6/10 Not game breaking, but a little too good on several boards.
Concept: 7/10 A cantrip VP token card is unique, but not necessarily genius.
Design/Art: 9/10 Asper always does a great job with his mockups and this is no exception.
Overall: 7.9 A great card, but lacking in some respects.

For the life of me, I can't seem to find the creator of Ascetic).

If this is the card you are using:

Quote from: Nic
Ascetic
Types: Action
Cost: $2
Trash this and any number of Treasures from your hand. +1 VP for each Treasure trashed this way.

Then it was created by Nic for the Prosperity Treasure Chest Contest. Although I believe there is a newer version floating around with +2 cards added on.

There is; you can find it pretty easily using Google Images.

"Harbringer" should be "Harbinger", just so you know.  A harbinger is a herald of things to come.  It can be an actual person, but it can also refer to an ominous sign.  The art I have in mind for it would be like a silhouetted messenger on horseback standing on a hill at night, gazing up at a comet or a meteor shower.

Harbinger by eHalcyon (http://forum.dominionstrategy.com/index.php?topic=3521.0)
Harbinger. Such a interesting card. I was drawn to this one because I love non-attack player interaction. It's essentially a lab variant, however harbinger is so much better than lab. In addition to it providing deck cycling, the card draw is far Superior to lab. You'll either get one extra card or you'll get better cards than normally. I can't think of a way to balance it so I'll move right on to the ratings and skip the synergies.
Fun: 10/10 Non-attack player interaction is always fun and a lab variant is a great way to implement it!
Balancing: 1/10 Almost strictly better than lab.
Design/Art: 10/10 I love the art and it's almost exactly what eHalcyon intended.
Concept: 9/10 Very Creative!
Overall: 8 The balancing issues drag this down just like Battle Strategy.

Yeah, I think others who have tested it have said the same thing about the strength.

It's not in the OP.  If it's in a comment reply, do you have a direct link to it?  If it's in that thread then I've probably seen it, but I just don't remember it at all.

Given that you've printed lots of cards made by different people with different resolutions, etc. Do you have any tips for printing fan cards? Also, how are you doing it, do you print on paper and just sleeve everything?

Glad you asked!
Once I find a image, I save it to a file. The image is then opened in Open Office Draw and re-sized to 2.5" by 3.5". If any minor modifications (Thicker lines, cost changes, name changes, etc.) seem necessary I use Draw and GIMP. I print out the images, 8 per page, on semi-gloss adhesive photo paper. Then it's a simple matter of cutting them out, removing the peel on the back, and affixing them to my extra set of base cards. To play with them I have 50 blanks, divided into piles of 10. Each pile has a different symbol on them. I chose 3-5 fan cards to play with and place them above the blanks as a reference. When you buy a fan card just take the corresponding blank. Some generic chips are used for trade tokens, but embargo tokens work too. A tavern mat it used if a card requires a mat, i.e. Co0kiel0rd's deposit. No sleeves are used for anything!
Tips:
-Don't print 10 copies of each card. One and some blank cards will suffice
-Don't buy blank cards. Get a copy of the base cards or use a spare set of base cards. If you need a lot of mats or tokens buy an extra copy of adventures.
-If you have GIMP use the circle select tool to get coin symbols if you need to adjust a cost
-To change the text of a card cut the text part of a template out and place it over the card. Use a text box to type the new text.

OK cool, great info. I hope you don't mind me grilling you with some follow-ups:

Just to clarify - you stick a printed-out fan card to a real dominion card and then just have it sitting out to remind you what goes with each blank proxy? So you don't end up actually having to shuffle a printed-out card into your deck, and you could get the same effect by printing on card stock or something?

Do you find playing with several different proxies at once to be cumbersome? Do you just use letters and numbers for the proxy symbols, or is there something else that works better?

Yes. You don't need to use high quality paper, you could just scribble some words on a note card, but I'm picky. I do want higher quality cards so if I get card sleeves they could function in a black market deck or a secret society deck.

Any symbols work but you could get 5 different colored sharpies and color each blank differently. Just don't put any markings on them that might make people confuse them with other cards. If a chancellor
really represents a Templar somebody could get confused. Also don't write “This is a suburb” or “This costs 3” on them so they can be reused for different cards.

I think it's a great idea to make a high-quality version of each card. I have been using proxies without even printing out a version of the card, but that makes it hard to keep track of more than one at a time (and I have been scared to permanently mark my blanks). Like, what if I write a black 'A' but I wish I had gone with a red triangle? Sometimes I stress about non-important things.

I have been thinking about sleeving all my cards so that I can play with fan cards, but that's a big expense, and my wife is really against playing with sleeved cards. So, inspired by you, I printed my first set of fan cards (just regular paper) and put them in the few sleeves that I have. If I develop/find any that I'm really happy with after testing, I think I will go ahead and print a high-quality version like you. Thanks!

I print them all in color and all my cards are sleeved. I also bought a second set of intrigue, just to have cards that I can sleeve with fan made cards. :)

If you like playing Dominion IRL like I do, and you want your cards to last, putting sleeves on them is definitely worth it.
I print fan cards (usually a text only version) on regular paper and put them in sleeves in front of blanks or cards I don't use often (like Tournament).

All these detailed posts are wearing me out! Rapid fire review time!

Great Cards: These cards seem balanced and will work fine in most games.

Stockpile (drop the "when you play this" clause)

Nope! All Treasures that have an on-play ability use "When you play this". Check out Philosopher's Stone, Loan, Contraband, Venture, Bank, Horn of Plenty, Ill-Gotten Gains, Counterfeit, Spoils, Coin of the Realm, Relic, and Treasure Trove. Fool's Gold is the exception, but it's tight on space and it still has a phrasing that makes it clear the ability happens on-play.

Thanks again for testing so many of my cards! I'm glad you enjoy them (Floodgate, Fund, Auction, Convoy, General, Dignitary, and Stockpile).

I thought Cloister and Sentinel were great as-is. (The only other ones you mentioned that I've played with are already on your great cards list.)
