I would change the theme, because I don't like the medieval European aesthetic.  It invariably reminds me of lame-ass "creative anachronism" types and their ren-fests and LARPing and all that garbage.  That's just me though.

But the benefit that everyone would get out of that would be that the cards would have to get different artwork which would mean that no one would ever have to look at the likes of Candlestick Maker or Scout or Harem ever again.

I too find this video haunting.

Because I still miss Iso so much.

I believe Wharf is the wharf of Reading Abbey, England (see http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-berkshire-12955385)

That Black Market deck looks really juicy: lots of trashing, lots of +Buy, some draw, Ambassador, Scheme, Warehouse, Monument, Throne Room.  There's a Fairgrounds.  And Scrying Pool can counter Cultist quite well with the right support.  If there was a village, I think you could win with a SP engine.  But there's only that lonely Throne Room... I dunno.  SCSN might be right, sadly.

Resigning is fine.  But when I'm playing out my turn and I'm going to end the game with a win, if my opponent resigns it feels like getting interrupted in the middle of a sentence or something.  I wouldn't call it rude, maybe just impolite.  And certainly unnecessary.  How much time could such a resignation possibly save?  You really can't take an extra 5-10 seconds out of your day to let me finish my turn?

(P.S., this comment is not directed at Gherald specifically).

If you're playing on Goko (or MF or whatever), be sure to check the second page of cards before making your opening buys.

Well the current leaderboard has me at Level 37, but the no-bots leaderboard has me at Level 38, so you know which has my vote.

Thanks for looking into this, Andrew.

To be fair, this is also a thing on isotropish.
Yes, that's precisely what the problem is.

Sorry for the thread necro, but I was unaware of this until I used the Play Bots option last night for the first time probably a year or more.  I just wanted to try out a couple of things, actually lost one of the games, and quit another, and noticed my Pro rating drop by a bunch.

Can I suggest some kind of pop-up that warns people of this when clicking the Play Bots button?  Just a little dialog window like, "Warning: games played using Play Bots are counted as Pro games!"  Is that even possible with the extension?

Is, say, Hunting party stack + Herbalist + Money an example of a big money strategy? Or Engine? Or in between? I'd call it an engine,  but engine is a large category, and I can see it being interpreted differently.
I'd call that an engine, because the point is to hopefully play the whole HP stack every turn, and then your Herbalist and your treasures is your payload.

Even better is when you know your opponent has a Platinum in hand and you Taxman a Plat into a Plat and then draw it back with a cantrip.

I'm not sure I've ever done that.  Maybe someday.

Happened to me a few weeks ago.  Got impatient waiting for another player to accept an auto-match and started a non-auto-match game.  The log even got a bit mixed up, as I recall it listed my would-be auto-match opponent's T1, then my actual opponent's T1, then mine.  I timed out of the auto-match game and lost it, so the games were in progress simultaneously.

It was annoying.

Well Possession does say you "make all decisions for them", so following the text on the card, you should be able to make them decide to resign.
Suddenly I thought of Ashnod's Coupon...

What about this one: http://gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?20150127/log.505e9c9c0cf2ef979299a7c0.1422385209123.txt

Should I have stopped at a single Nobles and then focused on Fairgrounds or something?

Utterly crushed by... Royal Seal: http://www.gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?/20150122/log.505e9c9c0cf2ef979299a7c0.1421978816446.txt

Should I not have gone for the engine because there was so little draw available?  Going money with Colonies and Black Market just seems so disgusting though, how can it be the right strat?

Another recent one: http://gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?20150120/log.505e9c9c0cf2ef979299a7c0.1421794670539.txt

I got completely creamed here, and I really don't know what I did wrong.

Here's one from today: http://gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?20150122/log.50babbafe4b05a8d74969537.1421972478431.txt

I got some really bad draws early, but that can't solely account for the drubbing I got here, can it?  My final Duchy buy was a mistake, I had forgotten that would be the third pile.  Should I have followed him on Rogue?  I feel like this was just an unlucky loss (the bad early draws, also getting my lone Duchy taken away with Rogue) but then again I'm feeling like I've been suffering unlucky losses every single time I log on to play so I don't even trust my perception about my shuffle luck anymore.

I've been playing poorly for many months now.  After peaking in the Level 40-42 range sometime last year, I have been on a gradual slide down the leaderboard.  I even dipped below Level 35 recently, for the first time since I don't even remember when.

Streaks of bad luck can't last that long, I have to conclude that I'm somehow actually getting worse at Dominion.  I'm feeling frustrated and demoralized.  The more I play the more I lose.  I need help.

In this thread I'd like to post game logs.  Any critiques of my play would be much appreciated.
