Frustratingly, there is no breadcrumbing from gkrieg that I can see D2. Of course it's very much possible that he checked one of Dylan/Joseph, and that result was rendered obsolete.

I'm sure that's what happened  :D

I think not everyone has posted yet, so I will allow for some more time, but consider this my

intent to hammer

faust, at this point we didn't know for sure it was E-1, but you sound here like you are sure of it. How is that?

I mean, we did know it though. Scum tried to kill me, and we knew there was one mayor and one liar (intentional or otherwise) between Joseph and I from the D1 wagon, so we knew I had 2 votes on Joseph, and the rest was just counting.
No, you could have been roleblocked.
I was pretty sure scum wouldn't kill and roleblock the same person...
Stranger things have happened.

I mean, true, but it's not like it would have been the end of the world if my vote hadn't turned out to be the hammer. It was most likely the hammer, and so it was the right thing to post intent. Not sure why people are getting hung up on this.

Would it be possible for votes in vote count to be displayed in the order they were placed?

i.e. the final D2 vote count reads:

Votes for Joseph2302: Dylan32, faust, gkrieg13, jotheonah

but my vote was the hammer, and I'm listed second.

Scum apparently has a rolecop and hit gkrieg N1, because I really didn't expect to be alive today, and gkrieg seems like a really random target otherwise.
This was an even night, so they might have been taking a chance at hitting the vig?

So long as we always vote in alphabetical order we'll be fine.

Why though? The vig shot would still go through, so they're not winning anything.

oh ok. So actually roleblocking a vig is better than killing them. Weird.

Anyways this is likely XyLo, so we should do some claiming. Dylan, do you want to make a claiming order?
So I've never done claiming before. Like, it's bad if PRs have to say stuff when they know it would be better to hold back and not make the info available to scum. But we think that's outweighed by the advantage of forcing scum into fakeclaiming stuff? Is that the idea, more or less?

The idea is rather that we need to exile scum today or we lose, and so we should put all the information we have on the table so we can make the decision that most likely doesn't lose us the game.

For someone who once voted for someone just for making a scumslip argument you seem to give them an awful amount of consideration.

Of course I consider them. And you don't? My fang vote wasn't because he invoked the scumslip concept.

I don't really, no. 90% of the time they are a distraction. I think it's a very simplistic form of scumhunting, looking at a single post to justify a read. It's better to consider the whole context, and that often gets swept under the rug in favor of a binary "I do/do not think that this post was a scumslip".

I agree on the mass claim.

I am like super angry about yesterday. I don’t like it when people play massively against their win con. I know it wasn’t on purpose but geez louise. Scum has just gotten to sit back this game while we defeat ourselves.

I know this is typically how it is done. I wasn't intending to do any vote counts this game, but was convinced during setup to include them. I have generally posted them in alphabetical order (I think D1 I had no logical order)... I'm just working back and forth between mobile and laptop, and it's hard to track them this way. For D3, I'll try to include them in vote order.

I have a guess for the scum team.

But, it'll have to wait until after claims.

I agree that it is super frustrating Joth. I still can't really figure out how that kind of mental fog happens, although I appreciate EFHW saying that it is, indeed, a possibility. I don't really even know that we have any game to consider from D2.

Completely off topic, but important.  I just submitted my final grades for the fall semester!  DONE! DONE! DONE! I still have a ton of work to do to get ready for the spring, but the dance of DONE is a special time regardless.

While we are waiting for Dylan to set the order, feel free to do the dance of DONE in solidarity.

I had my own dance of DONE moment last month with a work thing, so congrats Didds!

Massclaim order:
fang
faust
Didds
EFHW
joth
scola

Might be the first time I've ever had to set one of these, and I've probably got it all wrong, but I can take comfort in the fact that even if I get literally everything wrong for the rest of the game, none of those mistakes will be the ones that are remembered from this game lol

Right. Claimy claimy.

I'm a cop.
Night 1 I investigated Joseph and got result Town. So I know I'm not insane.
Night 2 I investigated EFHW but got no result (blocked).
