I WAS TOWN!
Sorry to push you so hard, EFHW.  Nothing personal but you keep making obvious scum mistakes when I'd pressure you.  I'm an idiot.
there's no such thing as obvious scum mistakes anymore, so yeah.  That's how TA got lynched.  The game has changed, but none of the vets are changing with it.
I did try to proclaim your towniness all of today. Actually, you are the one townie I felt I could get through to.

I appreciated that.  I'm actually feeling kind of hurt by this whole thing, might take a break for a bit.

Robz, your finding MGP scummy was completely legitimate, but honestly you should've read Raerae as town one she subbed in. You were being too hard headed in your reads. She really was pretty classic town!raerae.

No you missed her as scum in bankers.

I without thinking about how I knew saw her as classic town!raerae.  In Bankers she was a lot different.

This is what it really came down to for me: I knew coming into today I had MGP/Yuma with town reads on me. At that point...:

Quote from: Galzria, Post 31 Mafia QT:

Robz won't leave off suspecting me, plain and simple, but I've given him absolutely nothing concrete to work with and I still pull some town reads from others. If he isn't our target tonight I -think- I can live through his assault tomorrow. Maybe. He'll be gunning 100% for my head in a manner similar to Shraeye against TA. It'll be dangerous.

I agree with this statement on how both players were playing, but it's hard to change your read on a substitute so late in the game.  MGP had really established the scummiest of that player.  Just because raerae could come in and be her normal town self didn't change the role.  That makes it really hard on town.

Well, if she had been more reasonable about me, I wouldn't have pushed her lynch.  That was so incredibly scummy that even though I thought MGP was town (including after her wobbles) I couldn't envision raerae as town.  I was at mail-mi until she started coming after me.

Well scum certainly played very well. I thought if anything Yuma was going to be scum with Galzria and I would feel realy stupid. That's not the case, so I don't really feel stupid. Just bewildered. Never would have lynched the right people. The wrong people were scummier!

It killed me that you were the one pointing that out considering you've probably played with me less than the rest of these guys.  I suppose that should have been a hint...

I've played lots of games with you! Just not as many recently... But only because I haven't played as many recently in general.

The one thing about this game I've had a horrible time learning is that the people gunning for your head aren't always scum.  More often than not they're just wrong town.  It's hard to get over that hump but once you do it opens this game up a lot.

It was rampant throughout the game that people got an impression and couldn't shake it.  Started with Arch and TA and Eevee and me and MGP/you.

Whenever you are feeling certain alarm bells should be going off!  There's no call for certainty.  Everyone is scummy sometimes.  Overemphasizing that is why town has been losing so many games.

We all have different play styles and personalities.  We can't and won't all play the same or how we want each other to play.  This is a game, not a science.

This game depends to a large degree on logic.  It's when people follow their gut reactions not backed up with logic as well that they get into trouble.

I should apologize to Mail-Mi and mcmc for putting them in a really tough situation today though. The claim really was a snap play. I figured as long as Robz wasn't the Watcher I had a chance to pull it off (Yuma would've been tough too though).

Cop vs Watcher... That was the real gamble. I figured my best bet to sell the claim was to make an IC out of it, and while I knew it wouldn't persuade Robz, I hoped my choice of someone so... Anti-me would buy me credit in the eyes of others. Remember, effectively I only need 1 town out of 5 to support me to break Towns ability to lynch scum.

For example, I was unreasonably influenced by the fact that mcmc has been scum so often, including in Monty Python, which was going on at the same time.

Damn damn damn. Good job scum!! You played an AWESOME game.

That was frustrating, and really hard to follow. I had suspicions, but ultimately I had NO idea. I can take solace that I suspected all 3 scum at some point, though (Mcmc day 1 although I laid off of that, mail-mi day 2, and I completely believed Eevee over Galzria).

Eevee was so, so, conf town to me. There was one most he made later on in D1 that screamed town, and I'm surprised no one else saw it! I won't say what it was so I can use it again, though ;)

Agree with Raerae about the people gunning for your head. After I was lynched, I was SO SURE that Shraeye was town, and shocked to learn he wasn't.

I was dissapointed no one really gave any weight to my case against mail-mi, I thought it was a good case, and I still think it was a good case. He was so obviously making his conclusions about Eevee before the case, and not after the case, at least in my eyes.

Anyways, congrats to scum again!

I also agree that the long cases were REALLY hard to follow. I quickly got fatigued reading them, and I wasn't even still in the game -- props to all of you still alive for putting in so much effort and following the cases!

Robz, you were made pretty much an IC early in day 2, after which you proceeded to misread everyone but yuma, myself and Galzria. You also refused to listen to anyone who told you otherwise. You sure you don't deserve even the teensiest bit of blame? I know you did your best and, I just think it was clearly your fault it went down the way it did.  :) And that's ok obviously! Scum did play well, they fooled you. But you did misread everyone here.

he nailed galz.

But with weak and incorrect support he couldn't get the people he needed to believe him. At best he had Eevee (knew I was scum), and EFHW. Raerae wasn't going to support him, and neither was Yuma. He would've been much better off trying solely to prove that I was scum (which I don't know he could've done), rather than trying to prove a scum team that didn't exist.
