Quick reread on Jorbles:

Weird discussion about whispering re: Shraeye
Votes: Dsell in #331 for hopping on wagon easy.
Responds to insomniac's accusation of no content in 485. (Something I agree with given that I only had 2 notes prior to this post)
Votes: Watno in #560 - for jumping on asher - This is a position I agree with.
Defensive Post #583 - addresses quotes from 4 people (Watno, ftl, Lekkit, eevee)
Defends rapid watno wagon in #696 - suggesting that scum might day 1 bus.
Big vote analysis post in #722 - this is the only thing thus far that's given me a pro town read - in that he did work.    Votes DSell again.

He's only had one post today - the one that cayvie jumped on him for.

I heard the song, too. Not much of a Billy Talent fan so I don't know anything about what it refers to.

Insomniac's big pushes were for me, and ftl, as cayvie pointed out. This actually makes me trust ftl more as it looks to me like mafia is trying to set one of us up. Maybe they killed him so they could sheep his suspicions? Insomniac seems like he was probably a good kill choice for scum in general. He wasn't inclined to vote for cases he didn't believe in so he'd be difficult to influence, and he didn't come across as particularly scummy to many players. (At least I don't remember a lot of players saying they found him suspicious, only Lekkit.)

His profile seems to indicate that he's on in the afternoon / evening time.  Hopefully that will be soon.

I think I still prefer a Frisk lynch, too. Is there some reason to think Jorbles is the scum, rather than Jotheonah, for instance?

You're giving me scummy vibes too, but for different reasons than facts.

mee tooooooo I don't like Robz but I have no real case on him :( We should have lynched him D1 but today we've probably got better things to do :(

BTW, insomniac also suspected jorbles, isn't that right? That's a strike against him.

Well, to pull a quote from the man himself:

"The take away is Insomniac has stubborn reads, but they're right! :P"

...Actually... I need to go change something on my Profile. ;D

Frisk is also missing from the votecount, with Watno on there twice. :P

I'm trying to decide whether I believe Frisk's claim or not.

I can buy a vig shooting Insomniac N1; I've certainly had strong erroneous scumreads on Insomniac in the past--it's to the point that I have started ignoring gut scumreads I get on him.

It would be hilarious if the scum turned out to be Volt/Lekkit, ftl, Jorbles, and Frisk (i.e. everyone Insomniac voted for D1).

I don't think I believe Frisk's claim, but Galz is making me want to vote Jorbles. We can direct Frisk's kill tonight based on Jorble's flip, and then we'd be in a pretty good spot tomorrow.

Surely if we're directing kills, the correct option is no-kill.

How so? I mean, that'd be a fine option, but Galz pointed out that if Jorbles is NOT scum, Joth almost certainly is. And if he is scum, there is a pretty compelling case for Watno being scum too.

That's reasonable, I guess.

I just feel (after running Mafia IX) that a slower game is more to town's advantage. The bottom line being, more days = more lynches = good for town.

I suppose a group-directed nightkill is nearly as good as a lynch though.

OTOH, we don't know how many shots he has (if he's a vig).

I'm slightly in favor of directing a no-kill, but would be agreeable to a shot based on flip. My concern with shooting though is the potential for a bus driver, or other redirect. We have a lot more control over kills during the day, and we don't need to sit there WIFOM'ing unexplained/unexpected night time results.

I think it's pretty likely he has at least one more shot left, being a Jack-of-all-trades variant. And if not, he can alert us to that easily enough without giving too much of his role away.

I would put exactly no stock in that. eHalcyon probably called the role Jack of All Trades as a joke/troll.

What is your point though? Either he has a night kill and uses it like we ask, or he doesn't have one or doesn't use it like we ask and we lynch him.

Well, I take that back. If Jorbles flips town, he should shoot Jo. Other than that, no he should take no action. Mostly, I don't think he's town-aligned anyway.

I figured out the scum vibes I'm getting from Robz!

But it doesn't fit a story of facts that we have. Hmm...

If Robz were a "Mafia" (for lack of a better scumteam name) Thief, he could've stolen Joth's flavor last night and applied it to the Insomniac kill.

Robz claims to have targeted Watno, who in turn claims to have targeted Jorbles. If THEY are scum together, it's perfectly reasonable that they would've come up with this lie before the day began. We have no other confirmation outside their word that Watno did indeed target Jorbles, and that Robz got in the way.

But would scum Watno tell us the truth about targeting his partner with his other shot? Does Jorbles/Watno make more sense than Robz/Watno?

Robz gave me scummy vibes all D1, and he's seemed so very eager all game to lynch. Does a Robz/Watno storyline fit better? I can't decide.

And on top of that, I'm left with the Joth/Jorbles debate.

Ugh. I hate not knowing, and much like SFS, I hate being wrong. Hmm.

I don't love this. It is possible that eHalc subverted expectations and we're both town. If that is the case, I would very much like a chance to make my case for why I'm valuable to town.  Basically, I want to shoot this "has to be him or me" thing down right now. At least 1 scum in the QT is likely but by no means certain.

BTW, Robz, you can post your role to clarify how it works... as long as you don't include the original quote tags. Just like other claimants have done.

OK. I'm trying to summarize what we know happened at night, or what is claimed to.

Insomniac died, via badass-black-glove and scoop.
C_F claims to be a strongman vig who targeted Insom.
Watno tried to Watch Insomniac and Jorbles. He successfully watched C_F target Insom, and has gotten no other results.
Robz claims to be a "thief" who targeted Watno, getting blued and thus interacting in some unknown way with Watno's power.
Jorbles claims to be a roleblocker.

Possible explanations for the tracking results:
1) C_F scum who killed Insom
2) Watno is on a scumteam; his scummate killed Insom and Watno watched Insom to know who to frame. In that case, the death was by ice cream scoop and this implicates Jorbles or Joth.
3) Jorbles or joth are scum, and they had a ninja ability to avoid tracking.

I think an obvious question is - JORBLES!!! WHO DID YOU ROLEBLOCK LAST NIGHT AND WHY!!!

It's also possible that Joth was framed for the kill by scumRobz. Robz was also covered in paint, so it seems impossible to tell whether the two people covered in paint targeted each other.
