Vote: Robz

By the way, I'm voting Robz because he tried to cast an illegal scum curse.

Alright, well let me know when somebody smart cracks the code. In the meantime I'll probably just cast random spells at people. Expelliarmus: Cayvie

i will insta-vote for the next one who suggests random lynch. in zm, the only one who voted frisk for random reasons was his scumbuddy!

as for the code and generally deciphering ehalc's flavor - i suck at math and in the english language, so apologies but i expect to be of very little help there. someone noted the different numbers might mean factions which sounds plausible. 8 townies, 4 mafia (probably dementors, as mentioned in the opening post?), a serial killer (what other faction could have only one member?) and two.. somethings
(i would guess something town-aligned or at meast anti-scum, because 5 scum / 15 players is already quite a lot). i dont think a cult is very likely, ehalc already ran a game where a cult aggravated half of the players.

No one seems to be up, so I'll just talk to myself. Reread the first post and found this:

Welcome to RMM3: Read The Freaking Flavour
The game will have a simpler set up -- No cults, no alignment flipping at all.  No post restrictions!
So no cults this time. Also no traitors. No post restrictions.

Hex seems like a good idea, but might not be because the numbers are just too big. The smallest one (20) is actually 32 in decimal, and the largest (74) is 116 in decimal. What could ehalc want with such a range of numbers?

PPE: maybe it's ascii. Checking now.

So it was just a distraction then? Or is Neo somehow relevant to this game?

More seriously: does anyone suspect that we're not actually in Hogwarts, but in a faltering computer simulation of Hogwarts? And that's what the whole

Nifty, ftl.  I hadn't thought of ascii.  Also, to go with cayvie's reference to the "elves are once again busy. Once again buzyzzt", the whole flavor starts with

I redid ftl's work and it does indeed say "Neo is the one." Maybe it's an anagram?

Is it actually useful for us to be trying to determine all this flavour related stuff or a distraction? Unless someone can awaken us all to our matrix-y abilities and how knowledge of that changes the game is it actually useful to talk about? Does anyone have any useful clues to provide?

I don't think the flavour is relevant yet, probably will be on later days though.

I disagree. Town power comes from knowledge, and this game was based on flavor. I believe going as far as we can to decipher and collect as much meaning as possible from said flavor will only benefit town. How? We may not know yet. But eHal made it clear that it would be important, and anybody who followed RMM-I closely knows that when he writes flavor, he does so with a direct purpose. I think we would ignore it at our own risk.
