I'm going to make images of the cards in my fan set, and I'm looking for someone that has some templates or knows a place I can get them.

There is also another thread in the forum with a GIMP file (xfc?  xcf?) if you use GIMP, but GIMP can also handle PSD.

I use Photoshop.  I'd be interested if someone had a better template than the one I've just linked.  I recently reinstalled Photoshop and checked out that template and it's missing some things, e.g. a blank for Treasure-Reaction (though I could probably mock that up myself).

The .rar comes with a look-alike font.  As it turns out, I have the official font already installed (Trajan Pro) so when I get around to trying to make a card, I'll have to edit all the text layers to use the official font.  Annoying, but oh well.

Does anybody know the correct font for the cost in the bottom left corner?  Trajan Pro is definitely not the right one.  The closest I can find that is on my system already is Minion Pro.

Edit: actually, I think Minion Pro is the exact font!  The template just had that text layer stretched to 112% for some reason (along with using the wrong font).  I think the official cards might stretch it a little too, but not 112%.  Hm...

I have made a relatively complete template. It is missing "Victory - Treasure" and "Victory" though (and some weird things, like "Curse - Reaction" or "Duration Victory". I always wanted to send it to theory so he can upload it to the site, but I wanted to finish it before, by at least making "Victory - Treasure" and standard "Victory" available in it. Didn't have time to make that so far though.
The whole set from my fan expansion (see signature) was made with it.

I could export it to psd with GIMP. That might not be 100% accurate though, dunno exactly and I can't test it, as I sold my Photoshop (6 :>) license years ago.

I don't know which ones are recommended, but based on hints in the fan card creation guide and from other uses I use the following ones: Times New Roman in 32px for the flowtext and Times New Roman Bold in 40px for the big +Cards/Actions/Whatever. Times New Roman Bold in 32px for inline money stuff or other things that are written bold. Optimum Princeps Semi-Bold in 40px for the Type at the bottom, Optimum Princeps Medium in 64px for the title at the top. Optimum Princeps Semi-Bold in 80px for the "yields" in the top left and top right corners of Treasure cards and Optimum Princeps Semi-Bold in 90px for the price in the bottom left. Other sizes depend on the card.

All sizes based on a cart image that is 1024px in height.

Yap, I just sent you the psd. It might be correct as far as I can tell by asking a friend if there are some weird alignment errors.

edit: It might take a few more minutes, my server seems to be slow atm. I hope gmail allows you to receive an 11MB attachment. I should upload it directly to my server probably. Which I am doing right now. :>

Well, I sent you the link to the xcf, dunno if you can open that in Photoshop. But in the xcf the text layers are (of course) not raster graphics.

I don't think Photoshop will read xcf.

I've got most things adjusted now though.  I have to wonder how much organization was lost from the conversion.

Edit: I don't think OptimumPrinceps is a good match for the price in the bottom left.  Times New Roman is closer.

I'm looking for coin symbols (like the bottom-left cost symbols) for the wiki, and was wondering if someone in this thread had some lying around that I could use so I don't have to make them. It would be good to have one image for each possible price (0 through 9, 11, and 0* and 8* if possible. Also Potion if possible). Does anyone have images laying around for these? Or, at least templates that would make creating the images easier?

Either one (I think the free font copycat is close enough). I was just going to use a layer mask to grab the symbols with the numbers on them directly from card scans, but those obviously wouldn't be as high of quality as if they're made digitally. The bigger the better on size, but they'll mostly be used in-line with text so it's not too important as long as they're at least as tall as text, whatever that is.

Linked is a simple PSD with the coin background and a text layer for the coin value.  I just have the text as bold Times New Roman, which is basically what they do for inline values.
