The thing is, maybe someone has a one-shot power like,

You may have the mod "confirm" you as townie.  A real townie will also be confirmed.  The mod will state whether there is any scum among the non "confirmed" players.

So it wouldn't be an arbitrary lie, but it could still be a lie.

@ash -- there are different levels of certainty.  Maybe Darth Vader was specifically named.  Maybe Star Wars was named.  Maybe your PM only mentions ominous music.  Maybe Watno was specifically named.  Maybe you're making the guess based on his genre claim.
