Morgrim walks slowly down the lane this morning, seeking peace from the cruel and suspicious crowd. It seemed that no matter which way he went, north, south, east, west, or krumne, that he couldn't go anywhere where he could be alone. Leave us! No matter where he went, there was always someone tha would eye him down suspiciously as he passed. And that Captain_Frisk, gee, he was a stalker! Why does he hate Morgrim so much! What had Morgrim ever done to him!?!

Seeking refuge from Captain_Frisk and the rest, Morgrim headed to the forest. Wait, he couldn't! Galzria the tree stump was there, and he would stare Morgrim down with his stump eyes...if he did have eyes, which Morgrim doubted. And he had some question he wanted to ask the stump, anyway. As he approached the house of Galzria, he cautiously opened the eerily glowing door. Not hearin any noise, Morgrim entered. Once he saw th stump, a flood of question poured out. What are you? What is your role? Did the magician Robz change your role too? Why did you only speak in stumpese, except for the flavor paragraph? Realizing that his questiond were not being answered, he headed back to the town.

Morgrim knew who who was voting for. He ran to the poll, and when he arrived, scrawled the name on the paper.

The problem seems to be:

- everyone is a Jester variant; and
- no one has an incentive to lynch anyone. (Except perhaps Galz.)

We all have to vote, but no one wants to risk voting together. So, we spin our wheels. And ultimately get nothing.

And don't like it.

New Rules In Effect
1) If you can hammer someone you MUST I will start posting the actual number needed to lynch
2) There is a new way for everyone to win but first a big reveal you are indeed all jesters (except Galz)
2a) You start at 0VP, If you lynch someone without triggering their win condition you earn a VP. Getting to 3VP is another way to trigger a win for yourself

Yeah, when you stray too far from basic (which isn't even necessarily that far), it turns out there's a lot of pitfalls you can fall in when designing a Mafia game.

I remember a game I designed, on mtgsalvation maybe, that wound up with nobody capable of winning because of the way N1 actions went.

My opinion though is, honestly, if you think this game's broken, just to let it die and try running a bastard game again later. It's not like anyone's going to hold it against you. Emergency fixes... tend not to, and the wind's kind of out of the sails, at least for me.

Galzria watched a lazy white cloud meander across the sky. This Cayvie, he thought to himself, she is one vote shy of a lynch, is she not? Perhaps Galzria should offer out a ceremonious "olive branch"? That should be strong enough to support a body...
