Thank you to all the players who participated.  This was an enjoyable experience for me, and I hope it was for all of you.

I wrote up some thoughts on roles, design, and the game in the Mod QT that I shared.  I highly recommend you read the full role post for each role to see how the different aspects interacted.

As for the way the ending felt drawn out, due to multiple possibilities, including player decisions, I couldn't just call the game until now.  As mail-mi pointed out, mafia could have recruited.  Also unknown to most was that it only took two players to lynch a Dornian, so they could have been eliminated by town on D5 or scum on D6.  Plus the Dornia had some kingmaking possibilities.

faust got the right of it -- a lesson in the danger of survivors.  And what were all the characters, if not survivors of a grand war against aliens?

Thank you again for playing, and I apologize to those players who were unhappy with their roles, aspects of those roles, or any other deficit in my modding and designing abilities.

Ash, this was SO FUN! Thank you!!!

I really appreciate all of the effort you put into making it as complicated and interesting as it was. I also appreciate that you were okay with a tasteful owl meme...and that it rubbed e the wrong way! And as you surmised in the mod QT, Swan and I are the ideal candidates for unfettered chat access. That made the game so much more awesome for me. Mad props and much appreciation!

Didds and I apologize if it felt drawn out... it wasn't on purpose we promise! We legit flipped and flopped back and forth just based on the upsides/downsides of truth and lies. It was exhausting. Fun, but exhausting.

I'm kinda bummed out I randomly died. At least getting dayvigged 2 IRL days into D1 was due to someone.

This... Was not a fun experience for me.

I kinda wrote out a long post about why, touching on the 6/14 town thing, the underwhelming town powers, the lack of control I felt, but it really doesn't matter.

In the end, this was an experiment, and I really did think the IC reveal was nice, and experiments are meant to test weird stuff, and I am glad that we were able to test weird stuff.

I just don't have interest in revisiting this specific bundle of weird stuff.

Yeah fine. I guess my point is that there was a clear and more or less obvious path to ending the game, which was shooting the last town player. Was it a technical certainty that scum would do it? I suppose I have to admit it was not. So yeah, I guess from ash's pov it would be wrong to call the game if it's not 100%, but from my pov it was not fun when I was left alive in a situation with almost no hope, where I had no ability whatsoever to impact the game.

But that being said, thanks ash, for modding, and for a really cool setup!!! Up until the end, I had a really great time.
