welp that worked better than expected.
GL tomorrow GK.
Vote: No Lynch
Which one would you vote for if you had to choose right now?
because of the below post I honestly just don't know anymore:
I find it very unlikely that scum!gkrieg would fake claim BP in that situation. It's risky, and what does it get him? Maybe town!cred, but any other PR among town would have made it clear he was lying, or at least brought a lot of lasting suspicion.
if you think so, then it worked
My point is that it only seems to have worked because there was no counterclaim. Scum!gkrieg would know he was at very high risk of being counterclaimed.
Would like to point out that at the end of D4 (when GK claimed) that if they were in 2-T (which skum!GK would know of course), all they need to do given the roles is find 3 Town PRs and then of course there is the last S which is the Skum they know exists. From any town perspective, prior to the claim, all we know is that it is 0, 1, or 2 Ts.
If it is Skum!GK fake claim and they are sitting at 0T then yeah high chance of a CC.
If it is SKum!GK fake claim and they are sitting at 1T then yeah high chance of a CC.
But....
If it is Skum!GK fake claim and they are sitting at 1T... there is literally a 0% chance of fake claim.

Add those up, that's 4 letters. If there are 6 total then 6-4 = the 2 Ts they have so they have the game solved. BUT ONLY THEY HAVE THE GAME SOLVED. To Everyone else, it is up in the air. Go look at the letter combinations, its easy to see they knew there was no added W and there are multiple ways to which mix up the letters to make one more BP come into play without adding said W (only mentioned because that is what would complicate things).
Allllllllll that being said. I find it equally suspicious for someone to be in the mindset of not thinking this through (meaning possibly EFHW is skum and it is a 1T set up and they knew there was another role so they chose not to try a fake claim bc of CC options).... as it is that the above could possibly be a thing.
