Shoot, redirecting is confusing. I don't know who tried to kill Haddock.

Time to claim my item. I bid for and won the metal rod (1 shot redirector). I used it to redirect everyone targeting Haddock onto Datswan. My thinking was

Situation A) Datswan is town. He has the amulet. Anyone trying to kill Haddock will be killed by the amulet.

Situation B) Datswan is scum. Anyone trying to kill Haddock will kill scum.

Not sure what these results indicate, except that someone was most likely trying to kill Haddock, not Datswan. So Haddock is probably town. And maybe Datswan did not have the amulet, or it didn't work, or something.
Or gkrieg had a kill as well as a freeze:
he tried to kill me, was redirected to Swan, and died.

Mastermind results.  I guessed
Haddock: RED
e: RED
silver: RED
EFHW: RED
Galz: YELLOW
gkrieg: RED
Awaclus: RED
Swan: RED
Dylan: RED
chairs: RED
WW: BLUE
Iguana: BLUE
Jake: BLUE

(actually I also put Space down (as RED) because I didn't know whether they counted as alive.  But it turns out they didn't.)

because I wanted to see whether my paranoia about iguana/WW/Jake (which the end of yesterday REALLY amplified) was justified, and because I figured that if that WAS the scum team, this was the only way we were gonna catch them.

Anyway the response was:
Right colour right place: 7
Right colour wrong place: 3.

(Which means that 3 of those colours are totally wrong.  I'll work out the possibilities shortly, but the most likely one to my mind is that we had 2 yellows, 2 whites last night, meaning white is the standard scum colour and now we have 2 yellows and 1 white.)

Rewording it to take into account the information we know for sure:
silver: RED
EFHW: RED
Galz: YELLOW  (WAS RED)
gkrieg: RED     (WAS PLAIN-OLD-SCUM-COLOURED)
Awaclus: RED
Dylan: RED
chairs: RED
WW: BLUE
Iguana: BLUE
Jake: BLUE

Right colour right place: 4
Right colour wrong place: 3

(I've included the fact that I'm red in the modified list because obviously you either believe I'm town or you believe my results are bullshit anyway.)

So there is at least one scum in {silver, EFHW, Awaclus, Dylan, chairs}.  Not that helpful.

I mean, that does trim down our list a little, anyway.

Combine with other results, maybe we can get it whittled a little further even.

At this point I'm fairly certain I've been messed with at least once.  Gonna think about it more later, but right now I think the only possibility that is consistent with ALL my results is that there exist, now:

Either 0 or 1 scum (white)
and
2 yellows.

But then if we think PPS took up two colours, this makes the yellows either SKs or Survivors.  Which makes precisely no sense.

Also, I'm assuming it was Space's vote that didn't count towards the end of yesterday?
I vaguely remember there being something about Space's vote not counting.

If not, then we really need to have a look at that wagon cos it's fishy af.

I read the role as the vote did count, but we couldn't vote for Space and Space did not count towards the number of players needed to lynch. I could be wrong, though.

We should try to figure out what happened with Jake.

Four of the 8 last minute votes for Gkrieg were cast between 12:30PM an 12:31PM forum time and therefore were not counted as legit votes. Those votes included me & Galz. Don't remember the other 2.

Awaclus notably did not show up to vote Gkrieg when he said he would.

Looking back at who didn't/wouldn't vote Gkrieg seems important and worth doing.

Maybe I'm just reading this:

Quote
A zombie player may vote but its presence will not change the number of votes needed to lynch.

wrong. Maybe this means the vote just doesn't count towards lynch?

Space, can you clarify?

Yeah Ash died at EoD yesterday, so I would assume that vote count was just copied and pasted.

This does look really good for iguana I think. Pending other stuff, I won't lynch him barring strong evidence the other way. Either way, I thought it was clear that Datswan was draft spot 1, and the amulet was the only item the first person of either alignment would take. I can't imagine scum actually trying to kill him intentionally unless they thought they could cancel out it's ability or something. I wonder if scum doesn't actually have the ability to steal items, because that seems like something they would have tried to do early on.

So I tried looking up RMM43 to figure out what all gkrieg could actually do, but I didn't see Caitlyn Frost (or Killer Frost) as a role, even in the mod QT. The scum roles were [flavor name (original player)]: Lex Luthor (Haddock), Lionel Luthor (Roadrunner), and Meteor Freaks (faust). Was that actually from a different game?

The Amulet from RMM25
Quote
Look how shiny! It was brought to us by some grumpy Irish guy with strange hair who mumbled something about champagne.

While you hold this, if you are town-aligned and successfully targeted by a killing action, your killer will die. When you die, this item will go to its previous holder, if there is any. Once during the game, at night, you may use this. If you do, the last dead player that held this before you is resurrected.

Ok, so Gkrieg could have possibly died from killing Datswan. Datswan still dies normally in that case. That's lame. I thought the amulet was meant to protect you from being killed and kill your killer. I even checked in my QT before redirecting to make sure that Caitlin's Frost's freezing would be considered a killing action.

Awaclus has died. They were Conflict (from RMM6), the Chaffeur Strongman Witch.

This information will be added to the D4 start. Sorry about all the confusion.

The correct game number is RMM45. Will change.
