4 quickshot early posts from WW:

Also, fully support a full, total, absolute mass claim.

I'm a one-shot PGO!
I did not bid for Slot 3.
I vote not claiming.
Massclaim is terrible. But the Awaclus claim is perfect.

I am not Awaclus.

Vote: Ash

Massclaim might be terrible.  Or it might be phenomenal.

What Awaclus plan?

vote: igu for being overly confident about something without showing his work.  Scum trait.

Yes, he does not provide sufficient evidence to show he is not Awaclus.
These are pretty indicative of all of his posts.  Quite a few of them, short and spiky, not really saying all that much, and lots of joking around.

He tunnels DatSwan all of D1:
Are the items really that relevant in this game?
I admit that this is the first one of these I have played, but after re reading the first Rewind, it seems the roles of players is much more important.

This is NOT to say I think Role claim is a good idea, just pointing out that I don't see a huge town upside on a item claim right off the bat.

Vote: Datswan
and says this
I pretty strongly feel DatSwan is scum.
even while voting for PPS (as in, immediately after voting for PPS...).

Backs the PPS lynch but is maddeningly inconsistent.  This is D2:
Why would PPS be more likely to be lying?
and now suddenly
Possibly town on Datswan as well.

Meh.  It's not a strong case.  I think I just don't like his many-short-posts style.  They give me a feeling of actilurking, but actually overall he's contributed quite a bit.

Prefer
vote: DatSwan

You don't think this is true stop lying to seem level headed.

Are you always this obnoxious?

I think Galzria is town.

Why? No BS, please list reasons as to why you think anything he has done is more beneficial than him just being quiet and saying nothing.

I said nothing about him being beneficial.

Not really sure the point here, but this is misleading. That question is about Iguana.

Well, the wording is poor with regards to tense. Should say 'have been', as in, as seen from the contextual point in time.

So Galzria, now that we have the #1 draft order claimed - do you think DatSwan is Town or Scum after this exchange so far?

You're asking iguana that, I know.

But that quote indicates that you didn't think PPS was lying - or at least that he wasn't "more likely to be lying than not".  Yet you voted him anyway.
Unless I've misunderstood that quote, there's something a bit inconsistent going on here.

(Obviously someone doesn't have to be "more likely scum than not" for them to be votable; but when you've pushed someone ELSE (DatSwan) really hard, then vote PPS only to later indicate that you didn't think PPS was more likely to be lying than not, something comes off a bit funky.)

The point of the question was to see why Iguana thought that.

My opinions on it are entirely separate to the purpose of that question, but for the record I did not think PPS was more likely to be lying than not; I was pretty uncertain about him. I voted for PPS when I did because increasing wagon size and getting closer to lynch territory is, in general, good. I didn't expect a hammer to happen right away, and I don't know if I would have stayed on him had the day gone on for longer.

I just did a quick reread of WW and I don't see Haddock's points. I think this is Haddock trying to pivot.

I remember ashersky making a point against silver that sounded important. I'll look into that next.

*facepalm*

I mean.  I even said it was a weak case, and proceeded to NOT vote for WW.  This is is a gut read that I had, that I then found I couldn't actually support very well with actual posts.

What's "pivoting", anyway?

Doing my best here, folks.

Wasn't it something about PPS's stick claim?
I think he was saying that he thought your behaviour at two different points with regards to whether or not you believed PPS was contradictory.  I don't think I agreed with him.  Hold on I'll go look.

Yes, here:

Someone not on mobile confirm the timing for me of some SS posts.

At some point in time: SS posted the make PPS shoot someone plan.
At another point in time: SS bolded the line from the setup post about the stick being destroyed and voted a bunch of us for talking about something he thinks should have been very clear to all.

If the first one happened before the second, that’s a contradiction in that he definitely acted like he knew the stick was destroyed if given to town but previously he had tried to give PPS an out with the plan.

And actually, any order in which they happened, makes no sense to me.  Why suggest a plan if you are trying to show you clearly knew the stick didn’t exist in town hands?

I think this is the thing.

Ah, yes.

Not much there – the first happened before the second. I hadn't remembered how it was worded at some point, so when that became clear, I read it up. Then later, there was discussion in the thread which sounded to me like people assumed this was a matter of speculation even though it was in the setup, so I quoted the setup. You could call that hypocritical because I'm in a way accusing others of failing to remember a part of the setup that I had previously not known myself which is probably ash's point.

I think that's what he was thinking, yes.

I come down on the side of: it's not hypocritical to help others understand something you didn't understand at first.

I could see all the weirdness with Datswan and Galz being a scum gambit actually. As in, they planned this to try to get themselves both out of the PoE.

But yeah IDK the problem is that doesn't sound very likely but nothing else does either.

Also his role is basically on a death timer. The item he went for kills another player if you die. As scum you could use this item to get a extra kill 1. 2 you could heal scum mates from possible sk kills. 3 as he aquired more items over time this may stop being used in favor of other items but it still doesn't allow town to have a doctor ability.
