Ugh, not in favour of a jake lynch particularly. I've read the posts and not seeing a scum narrative from it.

This is the scum narrative: Jake was assigned scum. He has made progress in changing his town meta, but now that he is scum he has reverted slightly back, possibly due to feeling like he has to act like "himself" or being unsure how to act.

Ah, it's just me not thinking clearly. I guess scum might believe in their case despite some opposition just as well.

I do like that iguana's head went there though, giving out town points too willy nilly seems like a town tell.

Only insofar as their (your) alignments dictate.

There's plenty of theory discussion to be had on optimal naming here.  Does mafia include a partner in the list, strongest town, etc.?

When the list is published, we can see if you/gkrieg/Teproc are on it, then discuss further the following day.

Yes it certainly tells something. There's just a lot more WIFOM mixed in than is usual for nightkills.

An interesting observation is that if mafia names the two Werewolves, they basically force the nightkill. A naming of WW, WW, mafia would be the worst possible thing for mafia.

Another notable thing about that. If we are lucky, some kind of a last-minute lynch could theoretically lead to a dead player on the mafia's list, and that means that the Werewolves can kill whoever they want. At the same time, the mafia can theoretically invalidate their own list if they want.
