Well, if you don't interact with anyone in the game, you're absent for any practical purpose. After all, you are not in a room with your friends just because you installed a surveillance cam in there.

You're arbitrarily deciding that I'm the only one who's using a surveillance cam and that everyone is physically present in that room. A working analogy would be "you are in a room with your friends just because you are physically in that room, even if you're not saying anything" or "you are not in a room with your friends just because you installed a surveillance cam and are using a microphone to communicate with them".

No; that's not a working analogy because it doesn't support my point.

Indeed, so your point doesn't work either.

You misunderstand me. A working analogy, by definition, is an analogy the supports my point, which works a priori.

No it doesn't. There is an enormous difference between actively participating in the game by choosing not to post, and being absent.

Yes, the difference being that in the latter case there might be exonerating circumstances.

Yeah, and those circumstances are why they need to be prodded.

Yeah, and those circumstances are why they need to be prodded.

You need to be prodded too, because if we're lucky and it happens twice, you'll get replaced by someone more pro-town.

In the worst case though, you'll get someone who shares information with scum for no good reason.

Fun fact: This pointless banter between Faust and Awaclus is more fun if you read it backwards, because then it makes more sense!

I feel like I've ignored some questions sent my way in this game. I'm not dodging them, I've just been busy. I'm still busy though. So if there was something that someone wanted from me, maybe you can ask again?

Faust when you get a chance can you give a reason for your scumread on me?
I thought I responded fairly well to the case that was originally presented and to my memory you haven't offered any new reasons.

Can do. As you will not be surprised to hear, I disagree.

First, faust is saying that town reading him is the safe option. Well that's just not true this game. Faust was being scum read by several people. I wanted to head that off. Going against the grain like that is rarely the safe play.
Going against the grain is the safe play more often than not; for example, being on a mislynch wagon is bad, and a najority is always on a mislynch wagon. The same way being on my wagon is bad, because I'll be nightkilled and then it looks bad. And it does nothing for scum because they know I won't be lynched D1. I have gone, what, 30-something games without being lynched D1?
Eh.  Can't say much about this.  This is a theoretical disagreement.  I don't think scum!me white knights you there.  But if you think so, sure.

Finally, apparently my "this is weak" talk is scummy? Yeah, no. Not at all. Anyone who has played with d1!me should know better than to think that.
Provide examples for what you mean here.
Will do this when I get a chance.  But you should know me well enough to know how much I traditionally hedge on D1.

In other news, I am being found scummy on d1. And all is right with the world again.
Standard attempt to invalidate a scumread on you.
Shocking news: I want to invalidate scumreads on me.  Because they are wrong.
This was a serious point buried in there though.  I have been fairly widely scumread on D1 in EVERY GAME I HAVE EVER PLAYED AS TOWN.  Without exception.  I think it's worth people bearing that in mind.

Other than that, you seem a bit disconnected from the game. Like you're not naturally responding to things, but rather make rereads and stuff to appear more active.
I hope that if you read my posts from shortly after Fruit Ninja Mafia ended you'll notice that my disconnection from the game started going away shortly after it ended.  I confess I was so tied up in the endgame of that, I struggled to get into other games.  I think I'm starting to get back into it now though.

Overall, OK.  I mean.  I tend to agree, your recent stuff looks like town you.  I'll move my vote as soon as I find someone better.

What's that recent stuff that looks like town!iguana?
His "Oh I guess I can see why people are scumreading me" stuff.  For a lot of people that's scummy.  For II it's towny.

I'm going to do my best to ignore the Awaclus-fest that's going on right now.  FWIW, Awaclus is town.

Did I vote Joseph yet?  I may well do that, but want to have a closer look first.  Apparently those posts were not all of his posts?  I dunno.  I'm a bit tipsy right now.

I wasn't being serious with that suggestion. He's just not being too helpful to town. He will also denounce me, and say that he is not giving scum information, and that I am wrong, and also scum. He will also vote for me. Like. Every. Single. Game.

I'm still getting a scummy vibe from Joseph. Then again, he used to be lynched pretty early on every game. I don't know. But then I could counter that then, he was acting like a Court Jester. Now, he is not. In the past, he has not shown such restraint. Am I reading too much into this? Is Joseph actually getting better as a player? I don't want to discredit his change of playstyle.
