I think it's an acceptable lynch, although I prefer the ones I suggested previously.

Acceptable today, means anyone but yourself, no?
Well I'm still pretty sure e is town, and I'm leaning towards town for Seprix and ii.
So anyone but them 3 and me would be an acceptable lynch. But Egor has been less active than other, which is kinda anti-town and this makes him a bit of a better lynch IMO.

PPE: 1

You're fine with lynching whoever is the popular wagon at any given point. You were against e before, too.
Really? When was I ever against e?

And I've given my preferred lynches, my preferred not lynches, and lynching anyone else is better than lynching me (from my perspective). Where's the problem?

For the record I'm still (almost entirely) convinced that ii is scum. I really think he's the best D1 lynch. Like, the more I read, the more I'm sure of it. But I've accepted that that's not going to happen right now, so might as well search for the other two.

in the last game I played, 1/3 of the players self-voting were scum. Pretty random odds.

But ii is scummy regardless, so...

I'm thoroughly confused. there's a few people who think you're scum. I believe the majority don't. I know I don't so you are definitively wrong about it being everyone.

That you're going to self-vote as if it were a hammer when, in fact, it is the lone vote against you is just useless to everybody and only supports building some terrible case against you that otherwise could not stand. Granted, it's way outside the likelihood that scum would do this so it looks towny but it is such terrible play it makes you a better "well-there's-no-better-options" lynch than the egorK one that is floating around (which is clearly scum bait, and I think they may have bitten already).

Quit being pathetic and take a useful position.

Here's the case on me.

I got emotionally invested, and now I'm totally crazy in this game. I'm dragging the game into the ground and allowing scum to hide in the shadows/argue with me and seem reasonable/whatever it is they are doing, who knows who scum is.

Seeing my flip will show everyone that I was town and provide a lot of information - most players have interacted with me quite a bit.

That makes me the best lynch for today.

TLDR - I can't play well anymore. Might as well kill me so that you can find scum tomorrow.

no, just no. This is Mafia and it is playing out exactly as it does. cut out the whining and take a useful position. Lynching town to prove they are town is always a terrible play unless they've copped someone and the math says we can win afterwards.

I hereby issue a ban on the term lynch-bait. It's a completely useless term, because everyone who isn't scum is a lynchbait for scum, and scum is regularly going to leave the most lynchable players alive. I have never seen it used as a valid argument for why someone should or shouldn't be lynched and therefore everyone who uses it anyway is scummy.

What does mean something, on the other hand, is the amount of resistance a lynch is met with. Egork has a lot of it. Joseph not so much.

You don't think joseph's lynch has met with resistance? Are we playing the same game?

But yes, I didn't think there's a lot of resistance. Certainly less than with Egork.
