this game is so confusing, I was doing all of that reiterating and missed the most obvious thing.

So, in order for to construct a narrative for the faust/Hydrad team, faust must have had to ...

-> vote for his partner in order to get towncred for himself; or
-> vote for his partner expecting/hoping that I was going to unvote before IG could hammer him in order to get towncred for him

#1 makes no sense because faust didn't fight for his survival at all, and #2 is just super risky.

All I know is that faust's vote helps scum!Hydrad. They still have another partner--so it's not like that going south would cost them the game by any means. All they need is one mislynch along the way and then they win.

So even if we are successful in killing the faust/Hydrad component of the team--all it takes is for us to mess up on who the third partner is and then they win. This makes me think their third partner is in a solid position.
