relevant and totally wrong imo. of course scumslips do exist. if a new player is scum in his first game, and does the first vote with <b>vote: twilight</b>, that would be a massive scumslip. this is the reason why, in fish mafia, ash actually posted a warning about brackets in the QT.

Also, I did read your post about scum slips a while ago, and you're not really arguing for why they don't exist so much as for why they are really rare. That's why people disagreed with you despite saying that you made the better argument. To be more specific, #3 in your post is the reason why scum slips are super rare, #2 doesn't apply here and #1 is, well, the thing.

In this game, if it weren't for the other thing, i would instantly vote for you. as is, I'm not sure. I don't like your reaction though, I would have preferred it if you made the argument about the other thing instead of saying scum slips don't exist.

Yeah, scumslips are rare. So rare they are outweighed by far by random mistakes anyone makes. In your example, sure, if someone never used quicktopic before, then I guess using <b> is a legitimate sign of their being scum. I however use quicktopic a lot, and sometimes things get mixed up.

Really, in the linked post, I exaggerate a bit because I was meant to argue that scumslips don't exist. But yuma's post in that same thread pretty well covers my actual opinion on the thing.

Well this is just ludicrous. Seriously, I mess up the formatting between html and BBcode all the time. In my first game, I used BBcode in the scum qt like 3 times by mistake. Plus, SS already provided the relevant information himself concerning ongoing games. And Hydrad is sheeping him? I'm not sure which one I like better, I'm gonna vote: SS for now though. Scumslips are a thing, but this exact thing has happened before with non-scum. At best, it's WIFOM--which is useless.

I like this point. I agree mainly on the wagon reads with faust I guess. I actually might put TA as more towny then seprix.

but ya I doubt all scum was on that wagon and since theres me/IC/faust/SS. SS is still the best choice.

Ok. Just got back from class. I'm kind of baffled by these faust votes. And...this game also seems to be stalling a bit. I still like a silver lynch today--though I'm thinking about switching my vote to chairs.
