EFHW's defense feels scummy to me. It's like she's more disputing the minor mistakes in joth's case than explaining why she is town.

This is his sort of rebuttal to the case against him which is meta based and tries to make explanations for why he might seem scummy.

well of course it's meta based, you always have to consider someone's meta. there are some general rules, but they're always less important than personal meta. look at hydrad, his meta is being scummy, but you can't just lynch him every game for that.

Well I guess he quoted a statement which made him think you were scummy. So I think his reason is a bit more then your reason.

and quoting a post is not a reason. It is obviously not obvious that the post was scummy, because I made it, I'm town, and I thought it was genuine. And I quoted his post and then voted for him too.

doesn't this contradict? you say that you lynch anti town people even if you don't think they are scum, and then you say policy lynching is absurd.

Here he very scummily "defends by discrediting" it's something ash has perfected as scum, directly attacking someone who attacks you is a very good way to defend yourself from lynch but is very anti-town and very scummy.

He totally skips commenting(or commuting a stance) on any of the case made during his absence and just comes out with a very anti town thought. We should not be speculating alignment from flavor or roles that specifically state alignment is not known.

This is his immediately next post. More very non-committal low content posts that keeps us with our options open. Something I have found maid tries to force, last minute wagons are easily explainable by sheeping/only option.

The entire reason we lynch lurkers is it is hard for mafia to find content to post. You can't disregard an entire day of posting no content and going out of your way to not comment on any of the real cases others have made.

yes, lynching lurkers in indeed a good thing. I'm a big supporter. but I don't lurk as scum, which is why I'm not a good target. plus I am obviously going to start making cases at some point.

I have never been mislynched, I am entirely capable of doing unconventional things as town, and I have played a basic, active, content heavy game the only time I was scum. of course I could be scum trolololing WIFOMing into oblivion. it's sure not impossible. but it's not likely. and my lynch provides zero information, because it's a lurker' lynch. doing it would be a horrible gambit for no reason other than that you don't like my playstyle. well that's too bad. you aren't getting a defense out of me (unless you count this post), no matter how much you keep pressuring me.

I seem to remember a game just a few games ago where asher said the same kinda thing where he wouldn't get day 1 lynched since that has never happened before. And then out of nowhere people decided to day one lynch him. I don't think your as safe as you think you are.
