Does this mean you didn't come up with a fake claim yet?

I haven't come up with a fake claim, since I don't need one, since I am town.

What' I'm saying is, once I claim, there won't be enough time or people online to evaluate it. If I am a PR, you have to debate whether it's a true claim. If I am VT, you have to have that whole, "Robz would claim PR as scum / No he wouldn't," debate. I don't think there's enough time for you to all have that debate, given I'm not going to be around much.

We won't have that debate, the events of Stack the Deck mean you are now officially equally likely to do it as scum or town (since it saved you once as town, you could certainly want to replicate it as scum).

Regardless, Robz is panicking, and I don't think scum!Robz panicks all that much. Not into his lynch today after all.

I'm at work, and will be until deadline, so I can help get a lynch through but not contribute terribly much otherwise. silverspawn is still my preference, but I would vote for Robz ahead of a no-lynch.

I believe there are only 3 votes on Silverspawn right now: Mine, Jimm's, and Teprocs. We need 3 more.

okay... I'm going to sleep, like, really soon. I was hoping for you to get Robz to L-1, so I can hammer (because I strongly believe that he is scum, and I'd be okay with taking the risk), but it doesn't seem to happen. Unless you put some more votes on him really quickly, or change to Jimmmm (which is the only other one I think I'd support), I'll just put my vote on Robz and go to bed.

it's L-2 I think. 3 at the last mod count, and EgorK voted for him since, makes 4. we need 6.

At this point I could do Robz or silverspawn. I'll be around for deadline.

okay, I'll stay until the next full hour, that's 20 minutes.

"I'm good at the game, don't lynch me" is a worthless defense if I've ever seen one. It doesn't tell us anything, both scum!robz and town!robz are going to use that, they have no reason not to, both want to survive.

Robz wants to lynch me for self preservation. That's not scummy, but still, don't give in.

Here's why that defense isn't as worthless as you think: scum know it's true. So they have more incentive to kill me than they do other players. You are essentially doing that job for them if you lynch me. Basically, scum have certain priorities, killing me is one if them, and you shouldn't help. And if they don't kill me, if I continue to live, you will actually have better evidence that I am scum. Me not dying in the night is suspicious, for the reason that scum want to kill me.

Basically, the longer you wait to kill me, the more evidence you will have, or the question will resolve itself because I will be night killed.

I have great interest in lynching robz, not only because he is my strongest read, but also because he is pressing my lynch so much. putting someone at L-1 seems to be easier than hammering, so I thought it was more likely that he gets lynched if I hammer. Of course, now that I announced that, it's basically the same, because now putting him at L-1 is like hammering.

which means I can aswell just vote:Robz. This is L-1. The next vote will and should hammer.

A better player would have prevented the ash lynch from happening.

Unless you are scum, of course, as scum you had reasons not to stop the lynch.

Basically, the longer you wait to kill me, the more evidence you will have, or the question will resolve itself because I will be night killed.

But it's meaningless because of WIFOM, if your reasoning is valid and scum leaves you alive, then we have a very compelling case on you: that scum hasn't killed you (in addition to your super scummy D1).  So whether they choose to kill you should (with optimal play) just be a weighted coin flip.

The more I've thought about it the more I think scum is (or was) on the silverspawn wagon, and I wouldn't be surprised if whoever started pushing silverspawn (I don't know who that would be off the top of my head) is scum.  I have a super town read on silverspawn, but I feel like he's done a lot of things that would be considered scummy coming from a more experienced player, which makes it really easy for scum to pick up on those things and push his wagon, even though I think coming from a newbie the things he has said are pretty normal for town.  I think there was something he did that made me question my town read but I don't remember what it was now.  I should really re-read this game tomorrow.  But anyway I think the SS wagon is a good place to look for scum.  Also Robz is on that wagon (though obv. at this point it's just survivalism).

Also I think Robz should claim now or soon if he wants to claim.  I don't think "people will get into arguments about my claim if you try to lynch me today" is a reasonable excuse, just claim earlier so we have time to discuss it or we'll lynch you anyway.

Okay how about this: I have a full proof plan to prove my towniness tomorrow. If you are up persuaded, you can auto lynch me after you hear it.  Tomorrow. I'm not doing it now.

No. Just no. Robz could be lynched at any second, if he could proof his innocence, and I don't see how that's possible, he would do it now. Scum.

I'll say it straight. If Robz is town and gets lynched, he deserves it. The ash thing. Pressing my lynch. Not claiming now. This is not good play. town!robz would be smarter than that.

I think I'm playing correctly but obviously this is not the important argument right now.

Come on guys. Give scum the WIFOM and plan to lynch me tomorrow if I don't persuade you.

If you're town you are probably going to hate this, but I really think you need to claim what your plan would be now.  Being cryptic just makes you more likely to be lynched.  If you have a confirmable claim I don't think it can be made less confirmable by announcing your plan now, but maybe I need to check the set-up.  But the problem is, if I can check the set-up and deduce what your plan is from that, then so can scum, so you might as well tell us what it is.  Otherwise I think your survivalist plea looks scummy.
