Villa + Pilgrimage
This had probably been mentioned somewhere before but gaining 2 extra cards along with your Villa can be nice if you can play them on the same turn.

Grand Market is stronger than Lab in the early game, when your average card is still quite weak. As the game progresses the extra card from Lab will gain more and more value as your deck improves. The power level of different effects change throughout the different stages of a game so the argument that Card A is better than Card B because it costs more doesn't really work.

That's what you might think, but the exact opposite is true. Lab is stronger than Grand Market in the early game, when you're not drawing your deck yet. A deck that draws itself and produces $5 is a way stronger deck than a deck that produces $8 on average, but takes 3 turns to draw itself, because of how much faster it is to add new components to the former deck. That's why you always build your engine first and then add payload. On the other hand, when you're already drawing your deck, it doesn't help much to add more cards that draw, because there's nothing more to draw, and that's when you want payload, such as Grand Market.
What you're calling the early game here sounds like what I would call the mid game. No way I'm getting to $8 average or drawing my deck in the early game. Given the opportunity to open with either GM or Lab I would open GM on the vast majority of boards before moving onto the Labs. You need to add some economy first before you can afford those Labs right?

Grand Market is also of more use in the late (engine) game when you draw your deck anyway, and Lab would just get you extra cards from an empty deck.
Not necessarily. Overdrawing allows you to do a number of things such as adding green and retaining the ability to draw everything or using gainers to gain and play cards on the same turn, both of which can be much more important than the money and buy from Grand Market.

Purely in terms of action splitting Festival is a $5 Necropolis, which isn't very good and is obviously much worse than a regular Village. In a real game if Festival is useful then Village will be too, if Village is useful then the +buy from Festival needs to be important otherwise it's not going to add much as there's always ways to add money to a deck.

It's true that Sentry struggles to trash the last few junk cards, but a lot of the time this doesn't matter so much because there will be another trasher in the kingdom. If not then the fact that Sentry is never a dead card like most other trashers also makes this less of a problem. Along with the fast cycling, power of trashing 2 cards in the early game and the continued utility of Sentry it doesn't seem unreasonable to consider it a stronger card than Junk Dealer.

Maybe it could work if you increase the cost and buffed the effect? Perhaps give it buy so you might not automatically cycle it after the curses are out.

Ghost Town: A bit too much worse than Hamlet I think, perhaps you could get a coin or buy with the actions or give it a +2 Cards option or something.

Negotiator: Should cost $5 because of Explorer, maybe it's too similar to Explorer? I prefer treasure gaining cards to be on the weaker side because they can lead to pretty dull games.

Innovate: I think this might be a bit too good. Remodelling to hand is really powerful, Replace is quite strong and that only puts the card on your deck.

Village plus Steward-draw is equal to a Lab. You cannot build a draw engine with that.
There are actually many cases where Lab or equivalent is sufficient for a draw engine. Some examples include: strong villages such as Wandering Minstrel or Fishing Village, cantrip payload such as Grand Market, Highway or Peddlers and strong trashing such as Steward or Chapel. Obviously such a sweeping statement that you cannot build a draw engine with +"2 Cards" cards is completely ridiculous.

I actually only once build an actual draw engine with "+2 Cards" cards so either I am totally ignorant
You yourself even state that you have built a draw engine with "+2 Cards" cards in the very next sentence contradicting yourself and proving how preposterous your previous claim was. In fact you seem to have summed up what everyone else has been trying to tell you here better than they have been able to, so I don't see why this argument has continued.

Here's the recording of my match with michaeljb from ages ago. Sorry this took me so long and sorry about the lack of commentary, the recording got messed up.

I recorded my match with ADK last night but I can't record audio atm so there's no commentary unfortunately. Hopefully I can work out a solution by next time though. Otherwise I'd be happy to share my screen with someone.

Hunting Grounds/Groundskeeper

Trash Hunting Grounds with a bunch of Groundskeepers in play for 3 Estates and you'll get tons of points. I managed to outscore Dominate with this so it seems like it can be really strong.

Add Stonemason for extra fun! Use $7 buys to empty the Groundskeeper pile, then get all your Groundskeeper in play and trash Hunting Grounds for 3 Estates and 2 Duchy!
The game I played had Altar which was nice with this too.

Imho this read like if he run out of ideas for the last row -.-
I think the last row is actually the most useful set of questions here. If you ask yourself those questions at the end of every game your understanding of the game will drastically increase.
