I think that Pooka would be really strong/overpowered for $5, but the constant presence of Cursed Gold on Pooka boards balances it out. If you keep trashing Coppers, you're left with a deck of Estates and Curses, and 1 Cursed Gold.

5/2 here is sad. I would open Temple/nothing.
You would need to Dominate 3 times or Dominate twice and Province once in order to get as many VP as the megaturn, but even then, the megaturn player could gain Duchy with Horns. I think there's no way Dominate is viable here.

I use it as a gauge to understand what strategic concepts and comments are well regarded.
It's not perfect, but it is FREQUENTLY useful for that.
Very true. It also leads to people trying to make jokes to get upvotes, though, so maybe an optimal system would have 2 different kinds of upvotes, one for quality posts and another for funny posts.

Rouge/Lookout: Eventually, you want to trash your Lookout, but if Lookout is the only card in the trash costing from 3 to 6, you have to gain it back instead of doing the attack.

I'm used to 2-player games, so I often have a hard time adjusting to games with more players, since the piles just run out so fast. This one time, I tried playing Highway-Market where the only other strategy was Embassy BM. In a 6-player game. Everyone else played Embassy and got like 2 Provinces each and ended the game. I looked pretty dumb that game

I had Shelters + Hunting Party in a recent game. Since all the Shelters are different, HP still finds other Shelters if you have one in your hand.

Last night I had a dream that I was playing Dominion. Mandarin and Capital were both on the board, but I missed the combo completely. I only realized it when my opponent took half the Provinces

This question might belong in GendoIkari's thread here, but since this is a rules question I thought I would put it here.
If there's a single Tragic Hero in the trash, and you play it with Necromancer and have 8 cards or more in hand after drawing, Tragic Hero trashes itself and you get a Treasure. Does it re-trash itself, turning itself back face-up to set up future Necromancer plays of the same Tragic Hero? Or does Tragic Hero expect to find itself in play, and when it doesn't, doesn't trash itself but you still get a Treasure?

I can (barely) understand that some people prefer to just play fast, not ask for undos, and just keep going if someone makes a mistake. Generally though, I just prefer not to play with those people. At the end of the day, we're here to play a game, not to farm rating off of me when I accidentally play my coppers and want to buy a Grand Market.
