Just read the Eevee/Jimm QT. It took a while.

Surprising that you two were being completely honest with me when you let me into your alliance. I had assumed that ash was in on everything the whole time and allowing the split between him and Galz was a brilliant play to gain my loyalty. Turns out he just didn't have a plan after that vote at all and decided to never give me a chance to play the game with him for whatever reason. I'll probably never understand what, if anything, he was thinking; but good work getting him on your side. It wasn't because I didn't try, that's for sure...

Before reading this QT I was unaware that people could see I was "online" with QuickTopic. That seems to have played a large role in the way you all built and broke trust, which I find interesting.

I enjoyed reading that :-)

I don't think you can "see" if anyone is online, it was just "I'm having an active conversation with him, yeah he is around".

I finished reading those three QTs you linked, it's clear you put a lot of work into the game, Eevee. I'm glad you won it :-)

There were so many times you all mentioned that I would want to be blindsided, like that's how I would want to go out as a Survivor fan. I really don't understand why you thought that. I can't imagine a way to get voted out that would have been more fun than what happened, especially just getting blindsided. As a Survivor fan, is that what you would have wanted? I guess that question is for both Eevee and Dsell since you both said it.

We got permission from everyone on the jury for all QT, right? Does that mean we can release the Jury QT?

Finally, is there anyone else out there seriously interested in modding another season of this? I realize it wouldn't start for a while but if I was involved I'd want some time to plan things I couldn't do it by myself. I really don't know what I'd be getting myself into...

Adam, I just thought you'd want to be a part of an epic vote. You did kinda wind up getting that, but a blindside was a lot better for us too.

However, after getting blindsided, I can't say it's really satisfying at all...

I'll be involved in the next game in some capacity, whether I mod or play. I'm happy to do either!

Perhaps it's time to start talking seriously about next season, particularly who's going to mod it? I mean it's probably not going to start for a couple of months but if I'd be modding or co-modding I'd want some time to prepare... who all is interested in this?

Well I'm not part of the "forum games crowd" so I don't know the proper way to do it. I'm guessing that 63 pages deep into a game that's already over isn't the best place to gauge interest though. Those people eliminated early who clearly aren't following this anymore would probably be the people most interested in playing again, and I'd imagine the people still here would be most interested in modding.

Let's go through this thread and see who all has expressed interest, and I'll probably miss tons of stuff. It seems the only people who have said anything at all are Eevee, Dsell, and AdamH, and Eevee only mentioned something during the game if I recall correctly...

Congratulations to Eevee.

I think that had Eevee/Dsell been flipped on who went in the Tribe Switch, I would've gone much further. I made the mistake of thinking Dsell was the stronger of the two in their alliance, and so I played most off him. Eevee was a little quieter, so I felt like he was just along for the ride.

I don't think I ever lied or extended the truth to anybody about my relationship with Shraeye though. I told everybody that he had an idol before I was voted off, and I was 100% correct about that. I also was quite candid that the extent of my relationship with him was to give the Ozle tribe members (although mostly myself/Eevee/Dsell) SOME hope of survival if we went into a merge down a member - whereas if we went in with an advantage, the "alliance" between us would mean nothing. Quite honestly, I assumed it was the same on his end - but some hope was better than none if we found ourselves in that unfortunate position.

The one person I would apologize to would be Ashersky. When the first vote came down and there was a split, I pieced everything together, but I don't think he was in a position to quite do so. I realized then that it was Jimm (who I didn't count on being a major player at -all-) and Eevee that had turned on me, instead of Ashersky, who I had been railing about as the most likely betrayer (and why I wanted to alter how we handled that vote) for some time. As it happened, he was the only one who stood by his word and voted the way we agreed on. Sorry Ash.

Also, I'm thinking of sending a survey to the castaways this season, just seeing what was liked, disliked, and asking for any suggestions. I'm probably going to send it to everyone but ashersky unless I hear that something else is a good/better idea. I'm hoping to have something ready within a week. I imagine I'll have lots of different questions for Probzt too.

I have that info in the Moderator QT, but that also contains links to some early player-to-player QTs. I'm almost positive I would offend no one by providing incidental access to them, but not 100% sure... and it would kind of be an awful lot of work to separate the two.

You can't just copy-paste the finals ones?

Also, I think in future the OP should mention that all game-related QTs will be released after the game (and some during the game to spectators) unless there is a specific request to keep something private.

A few people from mafiascum are going to be doing a marathon skype survivor game on Friday and Saturday evenings (it'd probably be something like premerge on Friday, merge on Saturday) if anyone's interested in joining. No mike needed. We've got 10 players so far.
