Tau is just 2 * pi.  It's a much more intuitive way of conceptualizing it for students and although it's probably not worth switching to it now, it probably would have been better if we had started off with it.

Oh, I heard that Tau was the golden ratio (I did just check on wikipedia real quick, I had never heard it before).  Pi then definitely.

I'm homeschooled, but there they would be science (chemistry at the moment) and piano.

I've seen the what pi sounds like before.

The s can be capitalized or not, I don't care.  It should usually be used as a proper noun, but I don't capitalize proper nouns sometimes anyway.
