(I'm not putting this in the religion, sex, and politics forum because the religious things I mention aren't meant to be for discussion.  If you guys think it should go there, then it can be moved.)

There's a Christian "season" from Ash Wednesday (this Wednesday) to Easter called Lent where you're supposed to fast from something and spend more time praying.  I'm a Christian, and I decided I'm giving up dominion this year.  So, no playing, no posting on the forums, etc.  I will still play mafia on here as that's not related to dominion.  I'll start this Wednesday night after a church service that my church has.  Lent doesn't include Sundays so I'll come on here every Sunday still.

I'm giving up nothing for Lent because I'm no longer Catholic.  Actually, I might try to do something more during Lent - like learn a language or pump out YouTube videos - because that seems more useful than abstaining from something I like.

I'm having a hard time deciding what would be a worthwhile sacrifice for me. I don't have many vices that I would feel like I'm actually sacrificing.  The internet as a whole would probably be best but that will be difficult with my job managing the website at work. I've given up other things for longer than a month out of laziness, so that is deterring me from picking things that I "like" as most of those things can be forgotten rather quickly.

If the weather was nicer, I could abstain from driving my car.

I one time did anything on the computer except for e-mail (and only important ones).  That was actually pretty hard...
