Some card ideas

Action-Duration, $4
+1$
Set aside one supply card pile. Return it at the beginning of your next turn.
When you buy this, you may put your deck into your discard pile
-I'd like feedback on this card. I think it could be quite interesting with 4/3 opening. You could potentially get a 4/5 opening and ruin your opponent's opening. Swingy, though.
-
Then a curse-type card (10 or 15 per opponent I think)
Plague, 0$- Action
Trash this card.
When this card goes to your discard pile from play or your hand, gain a plague.
-Yes I know that this card would be easy to cheat - a card worthy of only honorable and honest opponents ;) But one way of solving this would be if the cards were double-sided, for example (makes issues with shuffling obv, but you get the point).

When another player plays an attack card, you may reveal this. If you do, the attacker chooses one: you are unaffected by the attack or the attacker gains a plague
-I made this card fully aware that "you shouldn't make cards that hurt the attacker", and this card doesn't! It's reaction is basically a moat, BUT, the attacker also can also choose to take a trash card if he really wants to get that attack through! So it's better for the attacker than a moat. And, I think a little bit of politics wouldn't hurt either.

Okay, you attack me, and I reveal a Corpse. You choose to gain a Plague.
Then I reveal the same Corpse again.

Also, Plague as worded has the first one someone gains gain them the pile.

Yeah. Did you mean, "When you discard this from play, gain a Plague"? Even if that's the case, why would I ever play a Plague? It's a terminal Action that replaces a card with another Plague. Unless that card is a Curse, that's a bad deal. Even if I have a Curse and a Plague in hand, there's a good chance I have another Action card that I'd rather play.

That said, the attacker can choose to hurt both himself and the defender, this probably won't be in his best interest but is politicized nonetheless.

I think the wording on Plague is supposed to mean (but not what it should say) "If you don't play this, gain another Plague." (to make you want to play it as an action)  The problem is, as shown here (somewhere there, that post is big), you could just discard it during your cleanup phase underneath your other cards and cheat.

Oh, good point on the politics. I was only considering the "don't buy attacks with this on the board" implications.

I like the idea of the first card, but I just realized that it should be Action - Duration, not just Action.

Also, I'm still against the discarding with Plague.  Every single dominion card that needs it makes you reveal things to make sure you don't cheat.  Scout, Scrying Pool, Bureaucrat, Cutpurse, etc.

Every single dominion card that needs it makes you reveal things to make sure you don't cheat.  Scout, Scrying Pool, Bureaucrat, Cutpurse, etc.

Well, most cards.  A few slipped by with suboptimal wording, such as Throne Room and Moneylender from the base set.
