Just got plunder for the summer break!

If a tireless card in hand can’t be played (i.e. drawn dead) does it still get top decked after your turn or does it have to be played to avoid the discard pile.

Tireless specifically applies to "when you discard it from play", and a card that hasn't been played is not in play; it's in your hand. So it will not be set aside; it will get discarded like normal.

Be sure to understand the separate places that a card can be. In play, in your hand, on your deck, in your discard, etc... all separate areas that are always referred to separately.
